I collect unneeded Christmas decor from friends & give them to my local women's shelter. There's always a few ladies starting over with nothing at Christmas & they so appreciate having a tree & ornaments-even if they're previously loved ones! It's so humbling to see how much they & their children love their "new to them" decor! I take Christmas stockings to them, too. I fill them with some simple little snacks & gifts- I'm on a tight budget, so I can't do much-but they enjoy them, too. Always try to donate if you can't repurpose things. They can become treasures rather than trash. I love the coziness of your videos! So warm & soothing! Can't wait to see the coming festivities! God bless!!!🙏🏼🤍

Your house looks wonderful and festive.Since my parents and grandparents died I have kept many of the things they decorated with back in their day, when I was little (I'm 74 now) and I decorate my little cottage in retro style. Actually, since I kept only what I loved, I think it just looks marvelous in here at Christmas 1950's style. And as you mentioned - lots & lots of nostalgia. Sometimes as I decorate I shed a few tears for all that is gone and will never return, but I guess once your my age - that happens.

I love your earthy colours. My house is decorated in warm colours including green and marone. Dare I say, I love a beige/cinnamon colour. This is the colour of our kitchen. Great video. Thank you Megan.

Willow Tree makes a beautiful nativity you might like. It is all neutral colors too. I love the magnolia branches, so simple, but such a lovely presentation ❤
I was going to suggest Willow tree too. I have their nativity set and it's beautiful. Very neutral and would fit Megan's style perfectly.

Cute decor. I would call it cozy, forest, and organic themed, but definitely not sophisticated like you claim. When I hear sophisticated, I imagine classy, elegant, traditional, and timeless pieces of decor.

Shelves 2 & 3, have smaller, busier objects...the Noel is simpler....breaks up the busy visual ( gives eye rest, between 2 & 3)

MOMENT TO VENT
Holidays and festive parties/celebrations are one of my favorite parts of life. I don't understand why people rush through them. If you don't buy your Christmas stuff at Thanksgiving, it wont be there when you do try to get it. Get your Thanksgiving stuff by Halloween and your Easter stuff by Valentine's Day!!! LOL slow down folks

I’m so sorry to hear you lost your grandma 😢❤ Mine is currently on hospice; she’s declining and it is so hard when this happens around the holiday times. Hey Megan, i'm from Germany and in our family we have a natural wooden Christmas scenery from a Company called " Ostheimer". They produce non toxic handmade wooden toys .Every year we purchased a new piece like an animal, a tree ,a star or something else and gave it to our daughter ( now 17) on Nicholasday (6th of December). Over the years we get a great Christmas scenerie

I got a nativity set from Kirklands last year and I love it! It looks similar to the Willow Tree ones but a lot less.
