There are a lot of talented artists out there who don't even come close to views or subscribers that K.Flay has on youtube, if that's what you are referring to as being "underated". Accomplishments and success in the music industry shouldn't be messured by those things alone.

i don't think she was actually arrested i think they would've had a marked car with at least some kind of logo saying police on their uniforms, i think that was the psych ward coming to bring her back, it was odd tho so many interpret it different!

I understand now. In part 1 she is arrested for cleaning up the trash then in part 2 she goes to that weird prison place and then in Part 3 she escapes with her sister aka bestfriend.

The fact that there even exist waste landfills is a problem. There are certainly good and reasonable / affordable ways for the society to completly avoid waste dumps altogether, if people just cared to be bothered
And also, a landfill is not necessarily created by waste materials because of the need for long-term disposal of waste. I'm not sure about the US, but in other countries, there are definitely landfill created solely for the purpose of extending land area close to the sea, typically for new industrial estates, but also for new residential areas. Obviously, these landfills are not restricted...

Yes. I would add that after the escape (revolution against the oppression, the forced non-sustainability) in 2nd part, the 3rd part is mostly about sisterhood (solidarity) as the "solution" to the environment (waste) problem.
After rewatching part 1, and doing some googling, I realize that it's all about the recent California waste crisis, after the China ban on import of plastic waste...

I love this so much! Had been a big fan of this song as soon as I first listened to the album, but it was depressing seeing the line "the trees caught fire" in action in the Amazon not so long after. A fantastic song, and a brilliant video. Also, fair play to whoever who owns the house where this is filmed for being so cool about all the rubbish thrown all over it XD
The fires in the Amazon have been less this year than in the past. It's all a hoax.
The guy at the end, emptying the trash back onto the yard and undoing the work of the "repentant citizen/reformed consumer," made me want to cry.

Girls on fire. Not to sound like a hipster but I’ve been diggin on K. Since ‘eyes shut’ but I’ll never forget the night she dropped ‘Life as a Dog’. I listened to the first track ‘everyone I know’ and calmly put it down and then finished my articles for the next day because I knew I wouldn’t be fit to do them later. I grabbed a bottle of Wild Turkey (though I’d later wish it was a bottle of Jim Bean(despite its taste) just so I could be even more immersed) and spun-out some PJ’s (Personal Joints) and a few roll ups (Hand-rolled Cigarettes) for good measure. I went out onto my large moonlit balcony that almost feels like a tree house due to the two giant sprawling southern live oak trees, that were rustling wildly in the wind making their own music. The balcony has a gorgeous view of the dark, slightly cloudy, Texan summer night, and the lake that the waning crescent moon, that was just a sliver that pleasantly shone brighter than I’d expected, reflected off of like a white streak underscoring the blurry, polychromatic cacophony of lights that came from the city. I connected my iPod to my hifi outside and blasted the whole album from beginning to end, again and again. (I live with my backyard facing a lake on a weird curve in the shoreline that makes it where our houses are kind of fanned out apart from each other, in short I don’t have to worry about noise complaints.) I drank and smoked and felt moved. I just sat and vibed. So much so on my second run through I grabbed my laptop and wrote for hours. She was my muse that night. I love everything she does. Besides. She’s how I learned the capital of Lebanon. XD. Much love K. Dot. I know one day you’ll have a number one hit song on the billboard 200 for months and months.
