Now this one I'd like to try. I think I've got all the gear needed. My druid is a summoner/fury hybrid, which works fine, but the procs on this are halarious.
Eth Stormlash is my dream item (I play single), and a decked out version of this build is my dream build. Unfotunately the only Stormlash I ever found is a non eth with a literal minimum ED roll. I do have a decently rolled eth Windhammer (dropped by a mighty chest), but it's just not the same :) An eth Horizons stopped my heart for a good few seconds once though haha Running with 2 Carrion Wind rings for CC and godly lifesteal, Hurricane, Cyclone Armor, having a Phoenix Shield, Static Field, Crushing Blow, even the perfect version may not be top in terms of clearspeed, but for sure super unique and damn near unkillable. Wanting that eth Stormlash is what keeps me going playing single :)
my favorite build takes a team to make but its amazing. A exploding arrow bowazon. using a 6 fire facet hydra bow.. get enchanted by an enchant sorc. BO from a barb. Then go around and stomp everything with a bow
Throw a lacerator on switch to proc amp to make twisters and nados to more damage. That's what I do for bosses mainly. Cool build though! Reapers is probably more consistent and safer though on merc.
Hustle rw for merc might be a decent back up of the aura pushes you to another IAS break point. Plus its cheap, only costing a ko. I think meta hat is the play tbh. Not to mention meta (made in a pelt) opens the door to possibility finding one that gives you bear/warebear, freeing up some points
there is certainly some optimizations that can be done, I originally made this character before Metamorphosis so adding it in is a big boon. Freeing up the belt slot, as well as offering more Crushing blow, options for skill bonuses. Hurricane might not be a bad option, also Summon Grizzly would free up 4 points.
yeah it was def one of those things the more i thought about it while watching the vid the more i realized how much flexibility the build actually has. Looks like a fun change of pace from standard windy druid. Also like someone else had mentioned reapers on merc would also prob be an overall damage increase. Maybe go crazy and use metalgrid and make the golem out of that hustle. Edit: or beast depending on how much money you want to burn. Stoked to see what you end up with!@@GGMentor

The paradox I faced with this build is with the AoE damage. On P1-P3 the AoE damage or not needed - Fury does the job well. On higher player count - the AoE damage is not enough
Hurricane is Cold, Bear Is Physical, Fury Main Attack is Physical, Static Field is Lightning, Tornado is Physical, Twisters Are Physical, also a nice 400 Chuck of lightning damage on Stormlash
Setup properly with spammable stuns, and max cyclone armor/perma hurricane for slows. Yeah pretty sweet for HC probably. You could even enhance the Stun length on the Twister procs by adding points into Arctic Blast which would increase survivability even more.

Act 3 Lightning merc might be nice for theme. He has static field now too. Lol, this looks like fun.

Hurricane is AOE, static field is AOE, the twisters are aeo basically because you spam them so much it's not as bad as you think

Correct, neither is an Eth Windhammer ogre maul or a Zod rune.
The build is unique and fun, but it does require some expensive items
