If you want a full fashion build go flame. When you defeat a enemy with the last hit of the fist combo it causes a small explosion
Lol at least they threw fire a bone somehow, cause it's by far the least powerful, especially for pvp
The golden bird armor set has a leg piece that allows for more kicking damage since it has talons. When you pair that with the danes footwork it makes it much better
I was curious and took these back to the base game to fight lower bosses with dryleaf arts I had skipped for my DLC run, namely Bloody Finger Okina in Mountaintop of the Giants and the night's calvary in the Consecrated Snowfield. Very pleasing results. The whirlwind kick could interrupt Okina, and the jumping heavy comes out very quickly, allowing guaranteed chip damage to anything. Even physical damage builds up quick when you knock over a mounted enemy, the knights never got to resummon their horses.
Just had a friend give me a low lv one so I could have it at the start and it’s so fun boxing up the Demi gods with it it’s deceptively good

I used the dry leaf fists to beat the shadow keep boss with the bleed affinity, pretty good weapon to use against that boss.
@@kingsrule9724 bro what ash of war do you put on them to get bleed affinity?? i have no Bleed aow for hand to hand weapons :(

@@Chris-il6oh yeah pretty much what he said, just make it with the blood infusion then put what ever ash of war you want. For tails mains just put multi hit tails man, shard of Alexander and lord of bloods exaltation. Though if you want more survival ability then just put on defensive tailsmains like the best damage negation one’s flame drakes tails man with the best flame negation. Then stick a few points into faith so you can cast flame protect me. With all that it should make things easier.

how did you put frost on the footwork one? mine is +25 and I only have standard, lightning, sacred, poison, blood, and occult
In raya lucaria there is a glintstone whetblade witch allows magic and frost to be added

Palm strike will rock your shit no doubt, Dane ended me with it because I thought lions claw would knock him out of it...I was so wrong
Keep in mind the palm strike has incredible hyper armour
Bro dont sleep on palm strike. On my int build using palm strike with cold dry leaf arts is how i killed Gaius
Palm strike is my favorite. I don't even want the kick combo..., and I bet that win was epic

Had a friend give it too at the start only lv 7 (patches gives a spar if you kill him so you can get it right out the gate) and it’s so fun boxing up the bosses and other start enemies with it and I’m hoping it keeps up but seeing builds with it I’m almost positive it will

The ash of war it comes with is like a black flash from jujutsu kaisen. Catch flame is fireball jutsu
@Myron90 I love using it like a black flash too, it annihilates everything
@@Yusuf12009 I use the weapon with bleed at level 1 so everything is way more dramatic. Those bleed hits really count and I love that my fire techniques do more damage too like an anime

I heard there's a way to get to highroad cross without fighting the boss, like a spirit spring that gets you there without having to go through the castle, can't confirm it though

Hexington Cheat Table maybe? If Dane is gone and no longer challengeable at Moorth, I think you lost your chance otherwise.
Is there anyway to get it after beating the dlc? I want to do a throw hands build for NG+ but the monk is not there

fun fact...you don't have to fight rellana in order to progress. I found a path east of her castle that leads to another stronghold that leads into the rest of the game past her.

U didn’t explain this very well. The Danes footwork is a loot pick up already on the ground in this arena after fighting Freya. U don’t fight the monk again alone. And he doesn’t “drop” it. It sitting on the ground after the fight on a dead body
Hi there just a quick question does anybody know if you can power stance with these tow wepons?
@stefanstillinger1171 Yes, you can, and from what I've researched, you get a unique combo animation when you power stance them together. I believe you're supposed to put Dry Leaf in your main hand and Dane's Footwork in your offhand then power stance.
I do one hand to hand and faith in the other hand. I'm a full on Naruto character

if you are too far in the story apparently you cant get the dryleaf gloves... just a warning.

How do I get the frost build-up passive effect?
You need to select the cold affinity for the weapon when choosing its ash of war.
@@zhongdonianlan8040 thats what I was saying that I can't find that option in the passive effects from ash of war. But I figured it out after a while, you need items called "whetstones", they're responsible for giving you different effects like lightning, bleed, ice frost, poison etc passive effects.

locked behind some stupid quest that you’re always gonna miss, never saw this npc once in my 40 hours of the dlc, they screwed up the dlc bad
@@MonkeyDLuffy-ed4fj I’m guessing this is your first from software game 😂 If you plan to play the others get used to it, their quest system is terrible

@@-tb1ol how's that funny I'm confused did I say ur fist will be faster no. The faster u roll the faster u can dish attacks onto enemy after u evade. Or u the type to only play spamming L2 so u don't need a roll

edit: and you run faster, it's not only rolling thats faster with less armor
Seriously fighting the monk is cancer. The camera angle goes schizo and my rolls get messed up and I take hits when I shouldn't be.
