Besides the professionally-recorded "Navy Pier" concert, 2002, this may be the best quality video/AUDIO BOC concert recording I've ever seen. Actually, even better than the Navy Pier concert, as Eric's pipes aren't completely shot, like they were in 2002(IMO). Cryin' shame "Astronomy" wasn't part of this set. THANKS FOR SHARING.

You guys are responsible for me getting A LOT work done! Playing a BOC concert and working has made me very productive. What do you have to say for yourselves?!!
I was there. About 4 people back with Buck in front of me. At one point, A thud on the top of my right boot. A guy passed out and went right down, lucky for him, his head landed on the top of my right foot! Black Frye Boots. So much fun BOC... I had a great time in my life!
Awesome,, takes me back,,, i was 17 in 77,,,,,so i was at the prime age for when BOC ruled,,,,,,what show was it you guys the guys with Black Trench coats on and candles and were banging the drums to a Veteran of a thousand psychic wars ??i still got my Mobile AL 1977 show ticket stub, i got my 78 Mobile Ticket and i still got 1981 Biloxi Mississippi ticket,,, i saw plenty more but got stoned and lost them,,,, my last was Alaska State Fair, BOC is one of my Favorites forever
Thanks a lot for this. What a band. I've been following you now for more than 45 years! It all started in Africa when i discovered one of your records and bought from some kind of strange record shop. Can't wait for your new LP !! Thanks for everything.
Yes I came here just for that, Cool footage nonetheless., We always have the 88 tour video one hell of a gem that is :D. Not sure what is the reason for the one-off performance, I guess its to preserve the truly kvlt nature of Imaginos lol I can respect it either way.
@@ejcorreia2 yeah, RIP, downhill, they talked of moving it to Branford years back, the place where the Stones played, and Billy Joel recorded a live album is "puke" now
Yesterday concert of BOC in Brussels (november 3, 2022). Very long pieces of music, non-existent concert structure, long moments of silence between songs, no atmosphere in the concert hall, lost audience... Was it really BOC or a cover band?... Sorry guys. Are you tired?...

Hard to believe this was 30 years ago. Then again, I've been a fan since the late '70s.
Is it me or is Eric Bloom singing exceptionally well in this show?

Holy f*** that outro guitar solo on Stairway just like the album..... intergalactic levels of goosebumps....that's what you call a trademark!
Some of the stuff Buck gets into at the end of DFTR here is astonishing.

I agree. Judas priest always made me get up and work hard too. Ted Nugent, AC/DC, Sabbath, the list goes on. Seems work and music get along well.
Me too, except when I stopped to note the time that each song was starting. =:^]
What a gem! Brilliant sound on this one. Loved Toads Place. Saw the Boys there 3-4 times in the early-mid 00s.
Buck is in absolutely amazing form. He sounds so good. Thanks for sharing.

Tight Tight Tight !! Woo Yeah !
Fuck YEAH, I love the intro to Take me Away.
Nice mullet, Buck Dharma.
Amazing guitar from 42:20.
Hola, espero vengan a México, tenía planeado verla en el domination fest, pero no se pudo por la contingencia
Domination Fest se ha reprogramado para abril o mayo de 2021. Ver el sitio web --> blueoystercult.com/Road-main.html
Buck be bad to the bone.
Last Days of May sounds like a frikin run away train! Wow. Buck sounds great but the tempo?!!?
This is awesome!
Dodgy viideo and dodgy audio. But awesome anyway!! Wish I was there!
Who's the drummer, is that Ron Riddle?
Yep
No Imaginos tracks ?
I think they only ever played tracks off Imaginos on the 88 tour.
