Great Video! I ordered this monocular and will try it out myself, will also wait for your full review! Thank you very much for the content and greetings from austria 🇦🇹
Hi Michael - thanks for the comment - I have just published my full review of these on BBR: www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/Pentax-VM-6x21-WP-Monocular-Microscope-Review-280.htm - I wonder how you found them and would love to get your thoughts. As you can read in my review, for a compact monocular, I really do think they are excellent in most ways.
@@Bestbinocularsreviews thank you for your comment! I share your points stated in the full review, maybe i overlooked it but what i felt about the focus mechanism was that it works pretty counter intuitive, when i press on the objective side the focus gets closer, towards the ocular it gets further, for me it would be natural to press the way where i want the focus to go Its nothing you dont get used to but i instantly noticed it The rubber eyepiece seems to be intended just for the use with the smartphone adapter, i got the just monocular version and there was no rubber eyepiece included I have not so much experience and things i can compare it with of course, but my dad haves a almost 30 year old swarowski habicht 7x42 which is optically apart from color fringing still better in sharpness, contrast and saturation, even if you look just through one it seems more plastic, but i would say the pentax does 90-95% of it Im very glad that you got the information that there are bak4 prisms installed, i couldnt find an information about that anywhere When ordering it i had consernces about the brightness, eye relief and field of view in practical use, but it turns out to work very good like you described in your review For me a very well rounded product Thank you for your reviews and thoughts they are very helpful! 👍🏻 Greetings from Austria and have a nice day! 😃
Hi Mitty, It is an optical only device so won't take video by itself, but with the included adapter you can certainly take photos and video through it using your phone or another camera - see more on my full review: www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/Pentax-VM-6x21-WP-Monocular-Microscope-Review-280.htm
Hi jayriz, it does not come with a lens cap - for photos see the full review on BBR www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/Pentax-VM-6x21-WP-Monocular-Microscope-Review-280.htm - why do you ask? Are you thinking of putting a filter on ore something?
Yes, it is a shame that they are not fully sealed. It is strange as they are so well made and don't think it would raise the cost by much - but perhaps it has something to do with the unique lens system they use for the v.close focus that makes it not possible/more difficult?

Pentax is bringing a lot of innovation to the optics market!
Great video, just the review I was looking for - thanks for the latest update and full review too
Hi Hanna, glad it was helpful, and thanks for the feedback - I very much appreciate it - Have you bought a set?

What is the size of the lens cap?

Can you review the latest Hawke Frontier ed x apo
Hi Santosh, yes. I have spoken with Hawke and I am sure I will be getting a pair to test sometime in the near future :-)
Bought the complete kit and didnt get the bag. Frustrating as it doesnt have anything to protect the optics
I believe that's real carbon fiber.
if only they would release a gas purged, waterproof Papilio...
