The closest Opie ever came to funny was only because of props (cake smashing, poker chip throwing, squirting asian guy with mustard from window, Bernie Goetz). The Jim & Sam show is unlistenable. I personally don't feel that Jim has been funny on the air since the departure of Anthony. As bad as Jim was when it was just him and Opie, he's even worse with Sam. I miss the Opie & Anthony show tremendously. I am glad Opie show is done. I was able to finally cancel my XM subscription after 14 years. It was the closure that I needed to finally accept that the Opie & Anthony show as I love and remembered it is long dead.

Jimmy was never a host and now he has to be the main guy on a show. He seems so worried now that he will get fired that he doesn’t take any chances on air. He was so much funnier on o and a because he was the third guy in line. The weight wasn’t on his shoulders so he could say whatever he wanted and not worry about anything. Now he is the first name on the billboard and he just isnt that funny. Its not really his fault but he needs to go back to being the funny guy like the old days and people will like the show more. Thats just my opinion

Let's be honest. Opie and Anthony were awesome. Every version of the Show since then has been "OK" or terrible. I'm not paying money for the current lineup.
Bill O and A was legendary. I can enjoy Jim and Sam as well as Erocks show but the other three shows are brutal trainwrecks.
I actually like Nick Dipaolo's show. It's the funniest show on the Channel. I'm not a Sherrod fan, I don't think he brings anything to the OpieShow.
Bill sherrod is a loud, obnoxious, noise grabber. Nick Dip is a great comic, but his show is more of a podcast still rather than a radio show. I'd like to see more guests and shit with him.

The only reason that the Sam & Jim show exists is because people are holding on to anything left of the Opie & Anthony show. The Opie & Jim show was awful. The Opie show was better, but not great. The Jim & Sam show is unlistenable. I personally don't feel that Jim has been funny on the air since the departure of Anthony. As bad as Jim was when it was just him and Opie, he's even worse with Sam. I miss the Opie & Anthony show tremendously. I am glad Opie show is done. I was able to finally cancel my XM subscription after 14 years. It was the closure that I needed to finally accept that the Opie & Anthony show as I love and remembered it is long dead.
People defending Opie saying "None of these people would have had careers if it weren't for Opie..." is like defending a parent who repeatedly abuses their own child; "Without the parent, the child wouldn't exist!"

The idea that Jim & Sam didn't stab Opie in the back because Jim said he didn't want his name to be attached to the old show anymore is laughable.
The fact is these guys knew for a long time that Opie was the odd man out for the morning show and didn't tell him. That is absolutely a knife in the back, regardless of what you think of Jim, Sam, or Opie as people.
