Sending positive vibes & prayers your way, heart issues is serious business. Your channel & a couple of others are what inspired me to get a 98 Sierra & restore/build it up! Keep up the great content!
Awesome video glad your all right to man health is key to everything good the truck is back I wish I could do the delete I have emission testing in my state I can't can't wait for the next video
Awesome video brother. I been wanting to do headers on mine to start off. My exhaust is still fully stock. I done a lot to it but nothing there yet lol. Glad to hear you are doing well. Keep up the good work!
I used the same Jegs y-pipe with factory manifold and had a flow master dumped right before the rear axle and the truck was super loud but would lose its ass after going 45mph. Took it to another exhaust shop and they recommend replacing flowmaster with a 18” magnaflow dumping before the rear axle. Truck sounds like crap when and still loses its ass. I bought a 02 sensor simulator and it seemed to help the exhaust. I wonder if I need to add pipes instead of dumping right after the muffler. Your truck sounds way better than mine. 👍🏽👍🏽
@@danthomson1182 i mean as of rn yes i have a check engine light on but there’s ways to keeping it from coming on but it really doesn’t affect anything unless you live in a state where you have emissions tests
@@danthomson1182 i’ll probably be making a updated video on how it sounds and how to turn off the engine light when you delete you cats! if you’d like to go sub to my channel i’m just a small youtuber so no pressure on you to go over to check out my content
@@danthomson1182 Normally the check engine light will come on because the O2 sensors aren't going to read right, fuel air ratio will more then likely be messed up once the cats are deleted. If you're having an issue check your local automotive shops to see if they can re-program your vehicle to run without the cats.
Bro.... is this video about chest pains or you putting exhaust on your truck? I clicked the video to study on the latter of the two because I'm about to be doing the same on my z71. I couldn't give a donkey shite about the other. Stay on topic
15:40 for before and after sound comparison! What do you all think?
Hey do you still have your old grill setup?
Yes I do

I appreciate the support more than you know!
Happy to see you feeling great again! 🙌🙌🙏
I know this happened a while ago, but I am glad your doing better after that heart issue.
I've been running no cats and a dual in dual out flowmaster 40 with shorty headers
sounds better with cats imo
Dude that sounds awesome!

Did you keep the egr tube?
I just put paradox hot tamales on mine and no cats Sounds amazing,

Open pipes to duel in out flowmaster 50, for me.. nice deep rumble.
Quality tools, low prices... how could you say no
One of my go-tos! Lol

Where did you put the o2 simulator?
@@BADZ71 www.afterthoughtsauto.com/o2sim.html, placed the simulator at the last port, which would be the last 02 sensor on the truck.
Glad your doing good man! Thanks for the video
Thank you!
just deleted my cats a couple months ago paired up with flow master super 44s on my 98 silverado
Ive also got a 98, wanting to cat delete, have you had any issues with o2 sensors/ check engine lights?

How do you straight pipe a truck without throwing a code on
next time use a Diablo Blade it will cut thru it like a hot knife on butter
Best bolt on 3inch single sweep exhaust for a 98 gmc sierra?
🔥🔥
What cross member are you running? Getting my 6” RC lift soon and need to know what I need to get
You talking about the front lift cross member? It's the RC one.
How did you end up solving your front driveshaft issue? I have the same problem
I haven't yet, but I'll take it to an exhaust shop and they can bend and reroute the pipe to fit the shaft
Did the truck run rich after this ?
Do you have headers
What’s the wheel dimensions on your Chevy
20x12 -44 offset
Definitely can see a x-pipe
What did you do with the o2 sensors
They are still there, this pipe keeps the sensors
what was the exhaust you had before, with cats?
Shorty headers to the cats, and then two Jones Turbine resonators
Nice lift what brand is it? Mines an RC
Mine is as well!
Hell yeah Hooker header long pipes wastegate to flowmaster 👌😂🤣
Ooo 👀 I like the sound of that. Turbo 350 anyone? 😂
