Liz, this guy’s voice is really extraordinary. He’s got power and soul. Other people have mentioned “Cold”. It will give you shivers. Btw, really glad you’re back at RUclips.
Hippie Girl, LOVED your "Disclaimer" at the end, it was spot on "they got no say!"! Also, your vibe shows that you can't change what touches your heart no matter the musical background. Peace/Love
Lizzie, I know you really enjoy music with strings, Chris released the song "Cold" about a year ago, you gotta hear it if you really want to hear some kickass strings.
Hi Lizzie👋 Although Berry Bear thought you were rambling😄, I thought your reaction and comments were on point. I hadn't heard of Chris Stapleton until I heard this song within the last year. I really enjoyed it! There's another song by him called Fire Away, and the music video of the song is very moving. Chris even makes a cameo appearance as the bartender. It won the Music Video of the Year at the 2016 Country Music Association Awards. However, be prepared with some tissues. The subject matter is deep. Enjoyed your reaction and always good to see you. Take care!
I love the acoustic guitar. Blues electric. Gospel vocals and The Woman who has made him Love something far more than alcohol. She now has him addicted and it is Beautiful ♥️ xxx..
Hi Lizzie, Thanks for this reaction, I truly enjoyed it!!! Chris Stapleton has got so much "rasp" & "soul" in his voice that I nominate him to be welcomed into our very own "Gangster Hippie Family!!!" What do you say to that???
He absolutely lists Etta James as one of his musical influences. He's got a ton of blues in his blood! Country comes in a lot of flavors, but while the genre of country claims Chris as theirs, he's so, so much more. He takes influences from everywhere and throws his own spin in the mix. I saw someone mention you like strings ... please watch Chris' performance of, "Cold" live at the 2021 Country Music Awards (CMAs). You will 100% not be sorry!
@@stevep2380 Lol. I love pretty much all of it, for different reasons, but I definitely agree with your picks. "Nobody To Blame" cracks me up! His voice and creativity just makes me happy. And his chemistry and harmonies with Morgane on and off-stage also makes me happy! Yep, really can't go wrong in any direction. ;)
I really enjoy your choices of music, especially when I heard you mention Otis Redding and Etta James. "At Last" is amazing! Not sure if you've played that, but please do.
Liz, you have to react to Chris's Country Music Award Hit, 'COLD'! He performed it 'Live' at the 'CMA' just last Nov. 2021... It's Incredible, Country 'Blues' at it's Best! Loving your channel here...
Okay, now you need to hear his version of "Cold", "Death Row", "I was wrong" and "Some times I cry" then you can get a new list of his hits from his album "Starting over". He is so much more than country. He is almost a genre of his own.
Hey Liz, what's going? Love that song Chris did a great job! But if you like that version you will love "Wayne Brady's" (He did it live on the "View") Alright lovely lady you take care and stay safe! "Vibe Squad Out"!
Lizzie. Can I request that you give a listen to Van Morrison track Have I told you lately that I Love You. An Irish Brother and he has real Soul in his heart and Vocal!.
Sitting in the waiting room at the dentist. Forgot my earbuds. I must say, watching LGH with no sound is still entertaining. Mesmerizing actually. Yeah, I’m weird.
You need to do the live version. Chris sounds better live. Chris is the best songwriter, singer and musician⭐️ Chris never misses! All live performances Hold On H.E.R. Duet It’s A Man’s World Cold live at the 2021 CMA awards. I Was Wrong at Austin City Limits Sometimes I Cry at Bing Lounge Death Row Say Something official music video Justin Timberlake duet
And none of y'all even thought of asking Mizz Lizzy to listen to probably in my opinion the sadddest song ever with sum of his Strongest Vocals "Fire Away"... Make sure and bring a case of tissues... For real for real ❤️
I haven't listened to a lot of country & western music, but one of my favorites is Glen Campbell. Three of his songs I like are: "Wichita Lineman", "Galveston" and "Dreams Of The Everyday Housewife". P.S. why doesn't Barry understand what you're talking about, Lizzie?
Lizzy my bad I just ran across your reaction to another group doing a cover of Killing me softly ....so you are up on Roberta Flack.... the group from a year ago were good but in my opinion Citizen Queen is more better, will let you decide.
I enjoy Chris Stapleton. I think he's really talented, but please give this old school song a listen. This is some heartbreaking, blue-eyed soul, from the 80's. Billy Vera, At This Moment (Live) ruclips.net/video/O2ur063fMhs/видео.html Tears are almost a guarantee, just a warning. (Kleenex) Thanks for the reactions. Take care. Much love. ♥️
Lizzie goes country, who knew? Since you're in a country mood, one the biggest country songs ever put out was "for the good times" by Ray Price. There was a better version (in my opinion) by Al Green. Al took the country out of the song and put in the soul. If you're not familiar with Al Green you should be. I hope you like.
Please react to another Chris. Swedish Chris Klafford he has also done Tennessee Whiskey. Klaffords voice vill give you goosebumps. Chris Stapleton has an amazing voice and I think Stapleton and Klafford should sing together. They could have been brothers. Both have long hair and beards. ruclips.net/video/GZcIzncVGAg/видео.html
Fire away a must see...
"Case of tissues is a must"... I still tear up at "Fire Away"... Baby girl... 😥😥
Chris Stapleton has such a soulful voice smooth like strawberry wine. Love you Liz 🦋
The live version of anything he sings is always better.
Liz, this guy’s voice is really extraordinary. He’s got power and soul. Other people have mentioned “Cold”. It will give you shivers. Btw, really glad you’re back at RUclips.
My nephew had that song for his first dance in his wedding everybody had tears of joy !Loved your reaction .P.S. Im glad your back!
Hola lovely Liz! Hope you are well and Chris Stapleton is a BEAST!!! B E A S T!!! Just an unbelievable singer!!
Dudes voice is definitely unique I feel like he's true to his craft and himself . A lot of country is pop music now he's not .
Hippie Girl, LOVED your "Disclaimer" at the end, it was spot on "they got no say!"! Also, your vibe shows that you can't change what touches your heart no matter the musical background. Peace/Love
I'm not a country music fan but I likes this man's voice it's more soulful...with a bluesy sound.
This is not country ,This is blues at it's best.
Lizzie, I know you really enjoy music with strings, Chris released the song "Cold" about a year ago, you gotta hear it if you really want to hear some kickass strings.

I watch and listen to many people on here doing reactions. You are # 1. You are very true to the music. Keep them a coming pretty young lady.😊
Chris’s style is very bluesy Liz. Love it!!
Spot on with the Etta James comparison. New and loving your reactions. Great job with the diverse array of music.
Great reaction as always. Your makeup is so beautiful by the way
So glad to 👀 you've finally found Stapleton. You're in for a ride 🏍🤗😎
….. Take another Grammy Chris 🏆.

Liz, try What Are You Listening To, Acoustic version. And try Starting Over. Awesome songs!

@mellie......absolutely. I would also recommend starting over and whiskey sunrise. I'm also a big fan of the devil always made me think twice.

Hi Ms. L., I still say that the best line is "When U poured your heart out, I did not waste it".. ♠W.G.

I really enjoy your choices of music, especially when I heard you mention Otis Redding and Etta James. "At Last" is amazing! Not sure if you've played that, but please do.

BINGO - Otis Redding. You’re the first I’ve heard to make the connection. Chris has a genre all to himself. Please do more!!!
Lizy, just noticed that you are back, you had this old white man worried. Hope everything is OK. Thrilled to have you back

Chris is one of those rare artists you feel rather than just listen to. I suggest the title Fire Away from this artist.
You can a lot of r n b influence in his music
This is more Deep South rhythm and blues rather than country, even if he is categorised as country.🔥🔥🔥
I’m new to your channel if you you like that one you need to watch the live video at Austin City Limits where he preform on stage with his wife 🇵🇷
Nice reaction Lizzie
Next Cakra Khan "Tennessee Whiskey" cover....raspy voice... soulful and fire 🔥
He has a Sam Cooke quality to his voice.
Now try, “I was wrong “, “Sometimes I cry”, and “Death Row”
don't know if you have tried country reggae, like cynthia schloss (all way in or all way out) is cool🦋🕊️
Hi Lizzie-a request if you haven't heard this one "Feeling' Good" by the great Nina Simone! Love to hear your thoughts on Nina.
Please listen and react to “High Water” by Bishop Briggs
Lizzy my bad I just ran across your reaction to another group doing a cover of Killing me softly ....so you are up on Roberta Flack.... the group from a year ago were good but in my opinion Citizen Queen is more better, will let you decide.
