I have had a pair of Reback lace up boots for 2 years now, and they are indeed the most comfortable. You can wear them every day, for all purposes, work and leisure. In fact I can even run/exercise in them they have so much support. Im off too Europe for some hiking, Ive bought the Redback hiking boots, because they are also waterproof. The secret of these boots is the comfortable and supportive sole that can handle flat and rough ground without stress on your feet. These are the type of boots you can walk in all day, in total comfort no matter what the weather.
I was a long time Blundstone wearer until I tried a pair of Redbacks CSA steel toe version in Canada. Most comfortable work boot I've ever owned! Thank you for this review!
The finish may not be quite as slick as Blundstones but if you have wide feet or a high instep they are a great fit. Very comfortable I live in mine including a pair of safety boots k bought for work- a pair of slippers with steel toecaps!
Was it Rose Anvil? If it is, because of him I purchased my first pair of Redback boots! For everyone who's watching this video Tim & Kelsey are absolutely right. These boots are the "BOMB"
I’ve had several pair of Redback boots. They’ve help up well and super comfy. I’ll say this though, their older boots seem to be made better than their newer boots.
I have a pair of the easy escspe hd I wear for work and a pair of great barrier for after work. My work boots last me 2 years as a mechanic. The others are at 5 years and I wear them for everything. Best boots I've ever owned. Very little if any break in.
Redback makes some great boots. I actually was at a concert and the lead singer of a little known metal band was wearing the black version of these boots and I was like “o man those are pretty cool looking!” So I went on an internet search and found them! I’ve had them for a few years and owned a few pairs, oddly great and versatile boots. I go a half size down from my regular boot size and they fit great! Great video thanks for the info! Btw the band was Metallica! And the guy wearing them was James Hetfield!
Thanks for the review folks! I’m looking to get a pair of the Redback Nubucks - would you recommend also purchasing the leather preservative for the lighter boots too? I also was amazed by the guy that cuts the boots in half!! Awesome find!! Thanks for your help!
I haven't done anything to my Nubucks, but I am ok with them getting dirty. I would recommend treating them with something if you want them to look nice and clean for longer, but I have been happy with how mine look and have held up.
Best boots ever! And thankfully still made in here in Australia, have been wearing them for years..so when are you guys coming down under to buy a new pair?? 😜
They are! One of the big reasons we liked them so much was that they are made in Australia! Unlike some other boots who everyone seems to think are made they haha. We can't wait to come visit!
Hi thanks also love these boots been wearing them along time 1st bought them over 20 years ago to work in a Jeep dealership but loved them so much didn’t use them for work as they held dirt and grease but wear them daily as an everyday boot , TK 10 doesn’t seem to be good at this time
Tried on blundstone and redback boots, I think redback had a better fit for wider feet. I'm trying to work out if I chose the wrong size or if one was a demo boot as my right's much more loose than my left strangely enough. Might give them a try on a snowy mountain to break them in and see how waterproof the bobcats are. The most surprising thing with your vid is you guys hike in jeans?
What was your break-in period? Mine arrived today and I'm expecting there will be an extended period for this. The leather on these are 3mm (according to Rose Anvil channel) compared to other manufacturers at 2mm including Blundstone. To me, that's a good thing, well constructed and thick quality leather for durability and long life, but thinking the break-in may be a bear.
I wore them a lot but I'd say they were pretty comfy from the get go. I had to wear high socks because the worst part for me was the top rubbing my ankle. After about a week that was gone. I thought it would be a rough break in too but it really wasn't. You'll have to let me know how it goes for you!
here to sing the praises of these boots! i wear a size 12us and the 11uk fit perfect. the great barrier soft toe was the boot i went with and didn't want to take them off at the end of the day...and i usually immediately switch into a pair full leather moccasins by ll bean when i do. these boots are quiet too for me that's a huge bonus. nothing gayer than being the squeaky boot guy. my feet aren't as wide as most but this boot has a great toe box with room to wiggle. these boots don't slide around on your foot either they seem to hug just right and feel great going up and down steep ramps and stuff that would usually annoy my toes in a less snug boot. working in an industry that racks up the steps* in a single day i highly recommend these boots. it doesn't get much better for a 195$ price tag and made by one of our brothers in arms. side note a got a bunch of compliments on them though i much prefer a laced boot if we are talking pure* aesthetics. thanks Redbacks
Follow up; I got a pair for Christmas and they are the best boots I’ve ever had! I’m pretty sure my gift-giver used the discount code if it’s still active. Thanks for the recco!
Yeah, I ran into that problem. They run out until they get a restock. I had to wait about a week until a saw my size in the color I wanted back in stock.
I'm not familiar with blundstone sizing but I know Redback has sizing info on their website to give you some guidance. They stretch out a bit but not enough to change the size, just to fit your foot.
I am usually an 8.5 in womens (US) and I got a size 6 (UK) in the Redbacks. I would say these run pretty average in width maybe a little on the wide size.
Hey guys, new discount code is TK23 for 10% off!
Awesome thanks for sharing I’m looking to buy a pair of those chelsea style boots definitely going to try the redbacks
Thanks wish I found your web site sooner I have 4 pair.but just bought a pair of lace upstairs last week.
The coupon says it is invalid or has expired….
@@jessedwards8188I just experienced the same thing when attempting to buy a pair of Redback boots
FYI it does not work!

i’ve worn through 3 pair of redbacks! best boot for every day work wear.
So comfy!
Just ordered a pair, been waiting for them to restock for a few months. Thanks for the discount!
You are welcome! Enjoy the boots!
Thanks!
Thank you! 🤙
I just ordered a pair and THEN found your video.
Love the energy and the effort!!!

I've had mine for about 6 months and I too "live" in them.
I don't think I'll ever want to wear anything else!
Love how easy they are to throw on in the morning too!

no doubt they are great boots but I have high arches and they did not work for me.

Good to know. Seems like that is often the case. I've gotten a second pair and so far they have done well, I guess only time will tell.
Thanks Kelsey !! Really liked your review !!

Thanks for the comment! Good to hear, another person's review of the boots. Cheers!
And do they stretch out at all?
I’ve had my eye on Redbacks for a while and this video is going to get me shoppin’! Do you remember what model Tim has?
If you get some you'll have to let us know what you think! This is the model Tim has. www.redbackboots.com/product/76

Im enjoying my great barriers! Are these the Mesa?
That's great to hear. Yes, mine (Kelsey's) are the Mesa.
would like to buy but their site has no sizes
Yeah, I ran into that problem. They run out until they get a restock. I had to wait about a week until a saw my size in the color I wanted back in stock.
which model does tim have?
Tim has the Bonsall. www.redbackboots.com/collections/soft-toe/products/bonsall
what redback specifically are these? Their Great Barrier boot?
Kelsey's - Mesa (www.redbackboots.com/product/56)
Tim's - Bonsall (www.redbackboots.com/product/76)
I have just ordered a pair!
Where can you buy them in the US please
Here is the website www.redbackboots.com/
So if I’m 5 in Blundstone, I’m also 5 in Redback?
I'm not familiar with blundstone sizing but I know Redback has sizing info on their website to give you some guidance. They stretch out a bit but not enough to change the size, just to fit your foot.
I gave a pair away, I don’t think they’re as good a fit as Hard Yakka boots that are cheaper and of the same quality.
Hi! I'm a size 9 in womens sometimes 9.5 if they're super narrow. What sizing did you get/decide on for yours?
I am usually an 8.5 in womens (US) and I got a size 6 (UK) in the Redbacks. I would say these run pretty average in width maybe a little on the wide size.
Redback did not accept this coupon code.
I'm sorry about that! I am reaching out to Redback now to see why. I will get back to you once I hear back.
They just gave me an updated coupon code. TK23 should work!
Code doesn’t work.
Sorry about that. Redback has actually been a huge pain with the discount codes. I will post the new one as soon as I get it from them.
@@SaltySunriseSailing Any luck getting an updated code from Redback?
