@@Miniscape-wh40k Maybe the big lad deserves a Deathwatch paint scheme. Been away from the chapter, fighting alongside other brothers, for a long, long time.
It must have been amazing to find your old Dreadnaught again. I have really enjoyed watching you paint, throughout the year. I have said this before, but I am so glad that I found this channel, and you have inspired me to pick up the brush again, and do some miniature painting of my own. I hope you have a wonderful New Year, and I can't wait to see what projects you have for next year.
Its so satisfying to have mates who understand the need for complete sets and are ready to share hard to find parts. I benefitted from this when I was desperate for a brakkar ratskin figure. It was like golddust in new zealand but a friend in sweden answered my plea and now i am a proud owner. Life can be wonderful at times 😊
The oods of actually finding a model you sold all those years ago, let alone being able to buy it back must be astronomical. The Emperor has fated this event. Its going to be most excellent watching you return this mighty model to his original home. 😊 Annd i like that Mrs Miniscapeis getting into your army. 😂 Happy New Year mate. 👍
🥰 I also saw about 20 infantry of mine for sale on eBay last year but I didn't buy those. They went for a reasonable price though. I hope my guys are bringing happiness to some hobbyist somewhere
I've had a Chaos Space Marine army that I've had lying around for forever now, but I'm going to set a goal for myself to get them finished in 2025. I could never decide what faction to paint them as, but I think I've finally settled on the Red Corsairs. Thanks for showing us your retro Warhammer painting journey. You truly inspire me and many others in this hobby and I look forward to a new year of Miniscape videos with painting and songs.
My favorite army was Paul Sawyers White Scars at the start of 3rd. Incredible force. If I was to recreate a force from that era, thats what I would try.
I love all your videos man, your voice is calming and I loved Warhammer for years but the retro marines are a different feel in a beautiful way. Thank you for showing this off
Man, you’ve inspired me to begin the Legion of the Damned army I’ve always yearned for as a kid.. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.. Thanks for the ace content.. Your excellent skills mixed with your laconic laid back style, and not to mention song writing ability 😂 makes watching content you produce most enjoyable..
I've seen this box on the shelf so many times and I always figured that if I'd start a marines army, this would be my start. I never got around to it because Orks were my jam. But it is so good to see these come together. Pure nostalgia feeling. And a song of course. Have a wonderful New Year!
The chances of reacquiring a model you sold years ago is phenomenal! Truly the God-Emperor's work at play! (One of my friends sold his Imperial Fists years ago as well. The army had a metal venerable dreadnought. When he started to rebuild the army a couple of years ago, I sold him an unassembled metal Venerable dreadnought that I had bought from another friend.)

Great work friend, they look impressive. Watching your videos is like having a friend that shares my love for the nostalgic minis of the past. Im going to try to focus on my 2nd ed Ultras and Tyranids in the new year.
Really awesome channel. I was about 10 when I started amidst 5th edition, so this era was before my time, but I find myself really enjoying all of the wonderful videos you make. There's something in these older kits that really scratches the itch for the wonder I had when I first started playing with spacemarines. Keep up the good work

Truly been enjoying your videos of late. I appreciate the subtle humour, and the paint jobs are amazing. It's inspiring me to want to work on the firstborn elements of my own Space Marine army, particularly the bikers, as it finally clicked for me that the best way to get bikers with plasma guns would be to use the appropriate sculpt. Thank you for the video, and looking forward to more from you in the future!
Nice little round up on a great project. 👍 I've so many projects for this year. Updating Murderfang, using a Brutalis and Space Wolves Venerable dreadnaught kit is definitely one. Hope you had a great Christmas, here's to a great New Year. And happy to be one of your "elites"! Lol
Awesome, It's been great to see the force coming together and revealing the ultimate goal of why Imperial Fists. I'm in the process or right now painting a Chaos Marine Black Legion force, since getting back into the hobby early in 2024 that I thought I never would. I don't have anything left from before so I started completely fresh, so I'm painting mostly new sculpts but using the old 2nd edition BL colors as a guide, so stuff like using bright reds & yellows on weapon frames & pipes, and darker greens. Of course I had to snag myself a classic metal Mr Tickle dread. I love this channel and your work. It's genuinely inspired and motivated me, thank you.
Ive got an entire chaos army from the 90's that hasnt been anywhere near a paintbrush, that i've been adding to over the last year! One day i'll paint it, probably when the kids have grown up a bit! On a separate note, i'm sure your missus was one of the voicemail messages on the new wallace and gromit film!!
Amazing video as always. I first pressed for a nostalgia hit (your Abaddon video I believe), I stay for the songs and I keep returning for the down to earth presentation from genuine hobbyist. Much love brother.

So here’s too 2025 and projects new. Cheers dude
I’m glad I found your Chanel around the start of the year, it was very fun to watch your Chanel grow and the supremacy force slowly be completed. I’ve taken notes on how you’ve don’t free handing. And faces. I’m currently away from home for work and have been for a while, but your channel and ones like it have me itching to get back to brushing and pushing pigments. Two big projects in mind, my imperial guard army that’s totally not secretly genestealers… and plans to acquire a warhound Titan and paint it up with lots and lots of free hand. Some what inspired by your songs I even wrote a poem I plan to free hand onto the titans shin. I’ll leave an update on weather I hate myself for deciding to do so later. Cheers and happy new year
Thanks for the content, I’ve found it inspiring. From the beginning of 2024 I’ve collected over 40 chaos Oldhammer models including wizards, warriors and iconic champions, as well as several ogres, minotaurs, plague bearers and all sorts of early chaos dwarves before they all sprouted tusks. It’s basically what I used to collect when I first started and it’s already a daunting collection so I’ve sworn no more till I’ve painted over half of what I already have. This could take a while as I’m still pretty crap when it comes to painting them, been practicing on Heroquest minis till I take the plunge.

Absolutely loved the series of video to reach that goal! Really fun to watch all the process to get this done! Hope to see more old school painting in the future! Makes me wish I could do a similar project with the Tyranids army from 2nd edition! I think I actually have most of the models for that (probably only missing some metal Warriors), and would really love to get that thing done similar to this!
My one mini painting goal this year was improving at painting NMM and, well, I've seen some improvement. This makes me happy. Your wife is FUNNY! She always comes off like she's Not Having It even when she's being silly, like in this video.
Thank very much for all the awesome videos and songs to go along with them🎶🎶🎶 as for me I just stripped my Eldar army from yellow and blue. Now that I know the directions I want to go, I’m going to go full Ynnari. I was going to do Altansar but I love the lore of the Ynnari. Also get to play with all the models I loved back in 3rd edition. Also younger me would have been thrilled to have over 30 Wraiths, which were my favorite when I first started collecting. Oh and space clowns, can’t forget about them
@Miniscape-wh40k that Is what I was stuck on for a long time. I painted them one way because I wanted to play Wraiths And certain additions meant if you painted them a certain way you could take more and they would get buffs but now I just want to paint them the way I want to. Finally I get to complete an army I've been wanting to do since I was a kid. As for a Craftworld, Altansar is pretty awesome. I painted mine as iyanden and just couldn't get the yellow the way I wanted. So now time for Ynnari and adding my own spin
I really enjoy your channel, as i like how you enjoy the hobby your own way, mostly with 2nd ed models and style. I enjoy the hobby in much the same way however my collection is pretty much a snap shot of the way things were around 4-5 th ed.
The Imperial fists look great! Like many other I remember seeing this on the game store shelves and thinking Too rich for my blood... Your painting has gotten so much better and I am looking forward to the next project! I am working on a SM Minitour strike force. The whole army is cobbled together from lots of different kits so it defiantly has a unique look to it. Anyway I also have Minis to paint. Till next time. Happy New Year! :)
I’ve been I big fan of your channel for a while now, I love the aesthetic of your painting style. I can’t wait to see what you do in 2025! Best of luck to you!
Been watching your videos and now I just subscribed. Love your stuff man. Please keep them coming. I got 60 primaris and 20 regular marines setting on the table and a Ballistia dreadnought that I'm struggling with . Can't decide on a scheme!
My hobby goals are to finish a Dutch colonial militia for blood and plunder and to paint 1000+ Carthaginians for 2026 Historicon. My friends and I will be hosting a Greco-Punic war game for the convention. You're very inspiring, maybe once I'm finished with my to-do list I'll paint my 90s 40k army. Lovely work.
You can tell from the effort you've put into these minis that you really do love these models. My Eldar long for the day they can give them the heroic death they deserve. 😊
Love the video, the channel and your yellow boys! Hoping to get my the Lamenters army I built in 2024 painted up plus my Misters of Battle (my Novitiate kill team made up of old metal and custom built Ecclisarchy bishops and priests.)
I've been doing similar work to complete old projects and denude my pile of shame over the last few years. My proudest moment was painting the second half of my BFG fleet, that had sat in a box for 22 years.
That dreadnought must be destined for great things
I hope so

We are both reasonable actors 😉
What a reach back. Good find!!!
Oh and space clowns, can’t forget about them
Sounds awesome. I also want to do some eldar soon but I can't decide on the craftworld
Found your channel this year, glad I did. All the best for 2025.
They look so great together! I'd love a battle report with them
That is a great job on the retro marines. I remember selling those years ago, which shows my age. You did it proud.
Edit: That song. :).
Can`t believe you found your old Dreadnought for sale like that! Incredible ^^
This was on the top shelf of my hobby store, too. In 2002... I wanted it sooo bad
I really enjoy your channel, as i like how you enjoy the hobby your own way, mostly with 2nd ed models and style. I enjoy the hobby in much the same way however my collection is pretty much a snap shot of the way things were around 4-5 th ed.
Inspirational! Thanks for making these videos!
You're welcome
The Imperial fists look great! Like many other I remember seeing this on the game store shelves and thinking Too rich for my blood...
Your painting has gotten so much better and I am looking forward to the next project!
I am working on a SM Minitour strike force. The whole army is cobbled together from lots of different kits so it defiantly has a unique look to it.
Anyway I also have Minis to paint. Till next time. Happy New Year! :)
Yeah my painting was terrible. Can't lie. Best wishes with your project.
I’ve been I big fan of your channel for a while now, I love the aesthetic of your painting style. I can’t wait to see what you do in 2025! Best of luck to you!
Thank you so much 😀
Been watching your videos and now I just subscribed. Love your stuff man. Please keep them coming. I got 60 primaris and 20 regular marines setting on the table and a Ballistia dreadnought that I'm struggling with . Can't decide on a scheme!
Thanks for the sub. Good luck with your project. Sorry I can't help you decide on a scheme. But I would recommend one you will enjoy painting.
Man what a lovely series this was. They look great
Glad you liked it
White Dwarf 236 was an absolute banger! Mine is all mangled because I read through it so much
Another interesting and excellent video!
Thank you
My hobby goals are to finish a Dutch colonial militia for blood and plunder and to paint 1000+ Carthaginians for 2026 Historicon. My friends and I will be hosting a Greco-Punic war game for the convention. You're very inspiring, maybe once I'm finished with my to-do list I'll paint my 90s 40k army. Lovely work.
Thank you and good luck
For the bikes, I want to say the lightning symbol was for fast attack back in 2nd edition. Love your videos!
That works, and thank you
You can tell from the effort you've put into these minis that you really do love these models.
My Eldar long for the day they can give them the heroic death they deserve. 😊
That's fighting talk. Thanks mate.
Love the video, the channel and your yellow boys! Hoping to get my the Lamenters army I built in 2024 painted up plus my Misters of Battle (my Novitiate kill team made up of old metal and custom built Ecclisarchy bishops and priests.)
Think this is a lovely project, has been a joy to follow along with.
You're welcome
Oooof, just looking at this gave me a nostalgia hit...
The tingles, right?
OH YEAH!!!
Keep it up dude!
I've been doing similar work to complete old projects and denude my pile of shame over the last few years. My proudest moment was painting the second half of my BFG fleet, that had sat in a box for 22 years.
BFG was the best 🤩
@@Miniscape-wh40k defo my favourite minis game!
@Slev00 if I ever get the time, minis and willing opponents, I am getting into it again
Would love to see a 2nd Edition battle report with this force. :)
So would I!
Sat at the breakfast bar eating chestnuts watching this, good times
Nice!
Keep up the good work matey
Fun fact, While watching this video I finished my goal of painting a 1000 points of Iron Hands
Well done sir
Thank you for all the content in 2024. And you know what? I will paint my 3000+ points of Salamanders in 2025!
Yes you will. Cheers.
