@NCTaikoDrumboy continued....The spartan has a short sword, bronze armor, helm, a shield, and a spear/javalin/pike and all of it is heavy, thus the spartan is a strength based warrior, the samurai, uses a the katana, dai katana, wakizashi, Kanabo, bow and arrows, yoroi armor and helm, and thus the reason why the samurai has a clear advantage, WHY because they are not only an equal to the spartan based on strength, but are FAR more agile, and require more skill in weaponry and combat.
@TheBrradsullivan Wrong, the Deadliest Warrior show has TONS of misinterpretations, for example, using a computer based system to design combat and define advantages, and also, a one-on-one battle is difficult to apply because a spartan carries a heavy shield and is very very slow, and a samurai has a large array of weapons, that he/she is skilled with, and is extremely fast, and the only way to determine which culture/warrior is deadliest, one would need a REAL LIFE BATTLE...continued

The reason why Spartans wear huge loin cloth underwear, so that when in the wake of samurai, and kodo drums, they don't shit on their shields...
