I know for JLCR's they tell you to put the chute release around the parachute only, not the nomex. I don't know if the charges from the line cutters would melt the parachute, but it might keep the zip ties in tact through ejection. I'm pretty new to all this, so if you try it and it doesn't work, I didn't recommend it😂
@@danielfloyd9742 That was my original plan, considering the gasses from the cutters are supposed to be contained within them. However, considering they keep blowing the orings and clay out the back, I think they definitely would burn the parachute.
So.... Braden, I think I missed something.......... If the charges blew out the back end of both cutters........ I understood your electronics would fire the Cutters at preprogramed altitude.... did the zip ties just break on their own ?? Why did the Main deploy at apogee..... ?
@@Glasspack66 That's what I need to figure out. I'm wondering if my charge cannons melted the zip ties at the top. It was a bit after the drogue charges fire, though, so I'm not entirely sure.
