So, at full speed just before it falls apart, it's going a full revolution in about 23 frames, or an angular velocity of about 8.2 rad/s. That merry-go-round looks to be about 14 feet wide, so the centrifugal acceleration at the edge of the disc would be w² r ~ 141 m/s². That's 14g my friends.

The merry go round was going about 126km/h at the edge, maybe it wasn't really fast, but 14g is a different story.
so the counter weight at 500 pounds was what 7000 at full speed

Aircraft Maintenance engineer here. Reason why it wouldn’t shut off…engines are designed to continue to draw fuel via suction in the event of a fuel pump failure. Only true way to shut the engine off is to have a shut off valve, to starve the engine of fuel. On most aircraft, it’s known as the spar valve, and completely stops flow of fuel to the fuel pump. Next time you guys do this, get a proper shut off valve in the line.
If that reaction was real, then Cody really could have died had he used too much throttle when he was on it.

To nerd out for some perspective, the engine Cody used, is used in a small Jet trainer for air forces. Its maximum thrust is 1,960 pounds. An F16 pratt and whitney F100 has 29,160 pounds with full after burner.
So... probably best they didn't get their hands on that.

@@wesleydeer889 the 129kN is from the block 70 is from 2022, thats pretty recent imho. Note that the F16 platform kept beeing upgraded. Making that engine more powerfull is not really the best improvement on an F16, if you want serious thrust, you'd better look at rocket engines. Hey whistlindiesel, cant you order a raptor 3? :)

The fact you were standing on it and it could have self fuelled is actually terrifying.
I know it's probably supposed to be a secret but he was just simply out of signal range, or never even checked the signal in the first place. While he was on it he was using the box connected directly to the circuit. The whistle of the engine remained a constant tone every revolution, this means the speed of the engine was constant as the speed of the spin increased. Before they got off they set it at max throttle, then ran away hoping the remote would work. It's better for the youtuber to admit they made a mistake than for the general public to think jet self fueling is normal.

И не поверите мы вылетали с карусели на скорости 20-40 километров, и удивительно, но никто ничего не сломал ни разу (были шишки да и только). Full throttle indoor helicopter blew my mind, as did monstermax in the ocean. Somehow once again Cody creates the most epic piece of footage.
The helicopter indoors was probably the most reckless thing I’ve ever seen on RUclips other than the guy screaming taxation is theft and shooting the top of his beer can off point blank in his hand and chugging it.
The indoor helicopter was nuts.

The helicopter was my first whistling diesel video and it set the bar very high. As far as danger goes,no feel like this tops it. The first time they were playing with the jet engine I was nervous but I never expected this. I’m almost in shock lol was this real or just some kind of hell
