They thought about the skinwalker sirens because they thought there was only a wendigo. They peeked out of the window and saw a VERY big wolf and it was so big it didn't look real, it also looked very weird and they realized that it was not a wolf... it was a skinwalker, they were terrified about the situation and far in the forest they saw the same wendigo in the forest. There was this one time we played hide n' seek at nighttime, close to this abandoned small stand. We hid behind the trees and in the grassy fields for obvious reasons. After about an hour into the game, we had to stop the game because one or two of my friends claim to have heard a creature near them. After a week later, we decided to play tag near our usual spot during the day, but something happened that to this day made me question what happened. While we played, I decided to go inside and get something to eat/drink something before continuing to play. When I got outside, my friends were acting odd. They said that they found bones of a creature near the stand. When investigating it, it was evident that the remains were from a coyote, but that wasn't the scary part. The scary part was that every time we were close to that stand, we heard coyotes howling, only to find remains of coyotes. To this day, I still didn't know what happened or who could've possibly killed those coyotes and leave such remains.
