If they had the heavier guy drinking IPAs, and the lighter guy drinking lights, the numbers would have been much closer to even. Body weight and overall blood volume is MASSIVE to tracking your BAC. Don't believe me? Lookup Andre the Giants alcohol tolerance. 😉
When you plan to drink, you should plan ahead on how are you getting home if you not going to be drinking at home. Is there going to be a DD or is the ride home going to be Uber/Lyft/Cab or are you just going to have a couple and will drink water between them. If you can afford to get drunk, you can afford a ride home. Its cheaper to take a Uber/Lyft/Cab DD home than to get DUI or to hurt/kill someone.
I guess that's why they were saying things like 52 minutes to sobriety ... but I don't know if by sobriety they mean down 20 alcohol blood level but that is my guess . To play it safe MAYBE have no more than one drink an hour ... or less than that probably would be smarter to have one drink every hour and half ... ? ... but not a mixed one which would have more alcohol . Personally I think if you're going to be drinking you should not drive at all not even if you have only one sip of alcohol .

Acually the limit is .05 DWAI pretty much exactly the same penalty as a DUI .08, and most cops just take you to jail just for having alcohol on your breath. DA will drop it later but you still go to jail.
