  • The Stewart 949 surfboard is hands down THE most versatile and fun surfboard I have ever ridden... I don't care what your surfing level is or what size board you ride, you need one of these boards, they come in all sizes from 6' to 9'

Few bad years too, the conditions at my Jetty went South- I'm a tall big, but not fat, older dude- & find my once easy 7'-7'6" shortboards challenging me a bit also. Your words in the beginning of video could've literally been mine. Your input was invaluable. Just found one for sale & think I'll grab it, thanks to you.

I am looking for an epoxy 10 foot board. An Old Skool Modern would be ideal. 9'6 would work too.

hey shredding hippie - what sorts of waves do you like the 949 on? what fin setup do you use? how does it perform in choppy water?

the 949 likes steeper waves. The bigger, the better. I use the fin setup that it comes with. It's a 5 fin set up... Works awesome..

@@shreddinghippiesurfshow thanks! I too a 7-10 949 out in some super mushy waves and it was...meh. but then one set came in steep and you could tell it really came into place! gonna take it out to the pier breaks which tend to be much steeper here (n. florida) and give it a try!
