You made him think twice about playing dw drums. Those pearls are singing ‼️💯
That's the most beautiful looking kit I think I've seen.
If Thomas is nodding in his head and smiling, that is a hell of an approval from a master like him. What an honor!
Oh shit son take it easy!
Love you also, Steve!
Beast overflow right now
Louie Palmer gots chops!!
Dude to even be in the same place with Lang would be a gift from god.
Grooving Louie!! That was awesome.
Always loved Louies playing
Yaaaay!!
I feel like just standing in that room would give me super drumming powers.
Very cool brother 🙂👍 Thomas is an A++ dude 👍 I met him at a clinic years ago he made a solid impression on me by how good of a dude he was!
What a team!

Monster!!!! Very good tasty, HS!!!!
He's a reincarnated Louis Belson!!! His left hand stick control is amazing!!!
DAMN. that left hand is playing 3 ghost notes ?
Pensé que era gergo borlai y se había pasado a grip tradicional y se cambió a Pearl.🤣🤣
I know that Thomas Lang, who had been playing with the traditional grip for a long time, changed to the matched grip about 10 years ago.
However from a visual point of view, the stick movement of the traditional grip looks much more aesthetic.
It looks it cause I can play both ways. I prefer match for easier movement around the kit plus more speed and power. Yes you can play as soft as traditional using matched with practice so match allows more options of use so it's the clear winner. Traditional is only for nostalgic reasons in today's time cause it's a dying art form but there's a reason it's dying and match isn't😉
@@normanwilmoth7404 Thank you for your reply.
A few years ago, I remember reading Thomas Lang's comment that "There's nothing you can do with the Trad Grip that you can't do with the Matched Grip."
Sounds like you agree on this.
I would like to agree with you that the Trad Grip is visually beautiful but not very practical, but I am unable to make a final decision.
For example this guy Yoni Madar, is probably one of the best technicians on the planet, and Trad Grip plays a significant portion of his videos.

The next person, Joe Ascione, is unfortunately deceased, but I can't say for certain that his amazing left hand playing has nothing to do with Trad Grip.

I don't know the thoughts of these masters, including Buddy Rich, on this matter, so I personally can't say at this point that they're just using the Trad Grip for nostalgic reasons.
Anyway, thank you for your opinion.
no se porque se sube el brillo en este video?
OH SWEAT
Tá parecendo Neil Peart solo cover 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thomas Lang and Mike Rowe could pass for brothers. Haha. You guys look alike.
HOW'S ABOUT KEVIN BACON?
Nice what’s the project?
It was for his new drum school '9 Beats USA' and I'll use the content for my online school too. We shot loads of great playing and interview footage!
