Is it possible to change the setup up of this laser by placing the control board to the front and the X rail staying on the as it is. Meaning it would home to what would be front left? The alternative is simply turn the laser 180 degrees to get the board at the “front” and X rail pointing to the left!!
How do you adjust your focal length to be suited for cutting? I have the same module focused with the tiniest possible dot on the beam and i struggle to cut 3mm plywood or mdf even with air assist
I recently bought this laser module. But there have been two things bugging me about this module. 1. The shape of the laser beam seems to be rectangular, not square. 2. The laser makes a bussing sound when engraving. have you experienced any of these things?
1. It may be focus issue. 2. My laser didn't make any weird sounds, so I can't tell what may cause it. You can contact NEJE support. Also there are FB group. You can ask if somebody have similar issues.
@@3DPrintsBuilds they said 5.5w , its the output power ,different with the 30W . Many brands have an output of 5.5W and say 30W or 50W or 80W of power. This is the way the seller sells
Thank u for the video I'm definitely buying 1 tomorrow I'm happy about the app. thank u again

Haven't done it myself, but it may work.
Why do you need to change the setup?

I use wooden block(came with laser) to adjust the height and then I focused the laser beam to smallest as possible.
@@3DPrintsBuilds thank you!

@@3DPrintsBuilds i see,
Thank you for the response.
I did hear from a person on fb that it is normal for the laser to make that sound
Awesome ❤️
what would make this a 30W Laser Module (with a 36W Power Supply) ?
Module input 30w and optical power is 5.5w
@@3DPrintsBuilds this thing never uses 30W for the Laser! And its simply not a 30W Laser
@@JoergGebhard That's the info from NEJE. I think 30w is the machine power and the laser module power is 5.5w.

@@Kun373 You are right! Laser module output power is 5.5w and the 30w is machine power.
