Hold the red button down a couple of seconds to turn the machine off, although the pulsing red light will stay on. I received my NEJE Master 2S Plus about a month ago and still testing it out, but it's certainly a solid machine for the price. First thing I did is cut a gauge block to help set the focus, as I use a lot of different thickness materials.
Hi @Neo7CNC ! First thanks for your video. I have a custom made CNC GRBL machine with the laser module neje 30820 but for me it's impossible to cut , only engrave. I have focused it manually and tested with a lot of intensity and speeds but I only can burn the wood but not to cut. Could you help me?
Your video is actually the only one that made sense to me but I am still not able to cut through a thin piece of wood. I left it at 100% power and burning time of 200mS (it didn't go to 900). Any suggestions?
@Neo7CNC I am looking for a low cost laser engraver to do deep engraving on 7075 aluminum, do you have any recommendations??? being that I am a "poor with a very limited income". I need as low of an cost as possible, but also need a machine that will do the job.
What program are you using with the machine? Great video im having trouble getting anything onto the dog tag any tips would be appreciated also, thanks
Hi George! It looks like Neje has their own software (PC and MAC) that can be used. This model also supports Lightburn (my personal favorite) and it also works on PC and MAC. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
Hey David, I have a Neje 2s plus 30w N40630. It is one of the big size, cutting area 255mm by 420mm. It took a lot to get it to engrave even the samples they sent. Not a lot of instructions. They wanted me to go on their forum but that was a nightmare. Still have had no help. I will try your speed tests. It is set at 10sec for speed. Not sure how that goes with your 900mm speed. If you have any idea, could you let me know, Thank you. MC PS your video is the best one I have found to see how to use this device. I have had it since January 2022.
Hi Maxi, I found the mobile app to be quirky and not intuitive as mentioned in the video so I probably won't be much help if that's the way your driving the laser. I had much better results and consistency using the LightBurn software. LightBurn is so widely used that is my standard testing setup. You may want to give it a try. Let me know if you have more questions.
@@Neo7CNC Hi David, we originally tried that but got less results than the neje software on my computer. it does timber ok, but I mainly wanted it for badges for our ballroom trophies. Not successful yet. Thanks for your reply.
HI David so I tried a mustard trick. I rubbed mustard on the metal and left in the sun then engraved on it 11 times. I left it to re dry in the sun. It was much better.
Excellent videos. Just found your channel, lots to watch now I notice that a lot of your testing is at 100% power. Is it advisable to run Diode Lasers at Full power, I didnt think it was ?
I have an Android phone but I cannot get it to work via Bluetooth. My phone sees the device but never connects. Anybody know how this works?. Been through the NEJE help...no help there.
I have a laser pecker run from an app the laser won’t connect via Bluetooth on your phone’s settings you have to open the app and connect via the app so may be worth a try

Where do you set up the speed on the app?
When I use the mobile app and pick an image I downloaded from Canva it turns black no image

I use the paid version of Lightburn ($40). Well worth the money in my opinion. What metal is the tag made of?

Hey Andy. As my experience with lasers has increased I don't usually run at full power unless I'm testing max cutting ability.
