I Swam 9 Miles Across a Glacier Lake

- Fremont Lake is the deepest lake in Wyoming and stretches 9 miles at the base of the Wind River Range. I first swam across the lake in 2016 and I've swam across it every year since. This is my 5th year attempting the swim, so join along as I paddle across the frigid waters of my favorite glacier lake.

I grew up on this lake. Charlie Golden was my Grandpa. Every summer for years to watch my Grandpa and Uncle Charlie in the Green River Rendezvous. This is awesome! 💕

I swam in high school many years ago for Buffalo High School and East High School. I have not done an endurance swim in probably 26 years. And actually just watching you, makes me grateful for that. I am a swimmer too. I swam on Laramie High School Girls Swim and Diving team from 2016-2019. I'm not the best swimmer but man you are awesome. I'm from Laramie, Wyoming. Amazing swimming!!! You should do a Netflix Documentary or Movie!!! I will support you!!!

At first I thought huh, swimming across a lake. Then I saw swimming the entire length of a lake, god. Never seen anyone with such an untarnished record of seeing stuff through from start to finish and doing things most people couldn't even dream of finishing.

Pinedale was a nice little town I can remember when they would square dance on main street . Now it's just a suburb of Jackson
Only in Wyoming would a town 70 miles from Jackson be considered it's "suburb". LOL. Hell of a commute. I suppose people are doing it though.
Thankfully it has still retained autonomy from Jackson. Still a very nice little town!
