My favorite lip oil is from Merit beauty. I wear Au Natural everyday. Recently picked up the shade Marrakech and looking to get one of their darker berry shades. Plus I love Merit’s packaging.
Girl!! The juicy tubes were it!!! 😂 I used to put it on and everything stuck to my lips lol. Great videos as always. I got the LYS and I am in love with it. It does last so long and it does hydrates. I now say my lip gloss is poppin’ .
Lip oils/liquid balms/gloss hybrids/hydrating tints/tinted balms are my favourite lip products ever! I love clarins, roen and rare for that plush balmy feeling. Tower28 is also amazing as gloss/oil hybrid. Merit, despite on the thinner side, i love a lot. It's so comfortable and the shades are "correct", Pink Beet and Marrakech brightened up my face and don't look garish but covers my pigmented mauve lips well. I actually hate Kosas I destashed them so quick! miliMAGE Water Rising Tint is super gorgeous hydrating wet look tint. My lips look so juicy and it's so easy to make that blotted lips/blurred edge look. It's also on the thinner side like Merit. Both need to be reapplied often but i don't mind at all. Others i think just meh for comparison purposes are Lancome Juicy Shaker and Fenty pro kiss'r tinted balm. Hourglass no28 is the most horrible of them all.
@@TheCleanBeautyCode That hourglass was a joke. It coated every single flakes, super thick and stiff and the smell is horrible. I have a tough time believing it works for anyone!
Hi! Loved your video. I would highly recommended the Marc Jacobs coconut lip oil. It’s super glossy but not sticky and it’s a nice thickness. Also it’s on sale right now. Would really recommend. :)
Hi! I only have Kosas lip oil in the shade Jellyfish (clear) and the lip balm which I like too. I have LYS on my list to buy- heard so many good reviews about it. I had bought so many lip products (Tower 28 glosses, etc) recently that I do I want to go before buying more. Thank you for comparing all the brands I was curious about!
I haven't tried lip oils yet! I think I'd be in the no pigment camp because to me it's a zero to minimal make up day thing. I'm interested in LYS and ones that seems shiny like gloss, so I'd probably be interested in the thicker ones. Otherwise, I would just use a balm or oil I have for skin and hair like coconut oil or something. I'd be interested to try to color ones though.
I totally get what you mean! I personally like clear ones the best because they are so versatile, they can be easy for everyday or add amazing shine on top of lip colors! I love using colored ones for when my lips are super pale and I need some color. 💚

Great video👍. The only lip oil I own is the LYS beauty one. It’s great because it has a thicker consistency, but isn’t sticky. I keep it next to my bed😊. LYS busted out some great products. I also own a few of their blushes and of course their foundation. Sephora has been sold out of their bronzers and blushes, so I had to go through LYS Beauty’s website to grab another blush and their bronzer. I can’t wait to get that bronzer in my hand💯. My current fave is the Iconic London Lip Lustre Oil. It is creamy, glossy, and long-lasting. I love the shade Queen Bee.

What’s the difference between a lip oil and lip gloss??
Lip oils are more hydrating! Lip glosses just add some shine and a little bit of moisture. But lip oils are more like a lip balm!
