- Hello everyone ! I hope you are all okay !
Here's a brand new video on the theme of Alastor's radio! His show is broadcast on the big waves, where we can hear his favorite songs, some human advertisements from his time... but also the screams of his victims, lost and blurred behind the radio waves.
A video capturing the atmosphere of the radio show of Alastor, in the show Hazbin Hotel. We can hear Alastor and his victims... and also a few songs ! 📻😈
⚠️⚠️⚠️ By the way, we already find a lot of videos on RUclips with Alastor's radio as an ambiance. I wanted to make it to my taste, and not use voices that don't come from the original Hazbin Hotel series. I also didn't want to use artificial intelligence to imitate Alastor's voice. ⚠️⚠️⚠️
I used a bit of my imagination and creativity, taking inspiration from old radio shows from the 30s and 40s. So I had to do a little research. Also, since Alastor speaks French and comes from New Orleans, you'll hear some of that language here. :)
This audio editing took me hours of work ! I hope you enjoy ! :p

The Alastor lore goes crazy
Imagine this playing in the Hazbin Hotel’s lobby. I feel like they’d add a really charming, vintage ambiance to the place, especially if you’re at their bar or eating a meal there.
I think this is canon! There’s a scene in S1 where Charlie’s freaking out about the Extermination in the hotel lobby, and at the very beginning of that scene we see KeeKee napping peacefully next to Alastor’s radio, which seems to be playing a nice tune 😭

I clicked on this thinking it would either be a prank video that was pure ear-shattering screams or it would be a generic oldies lo-fi playlist with a picture of Alastor to make it Hazbin themed. I have never been so delighted to be wrong. I seriously respect all of the work and effort you put into selecting songs and advertisements that fit the theme, the placement of the screams and the fact you didn't make them overwhelming or jarring, the glitching effects, the incorporation of canon voices and moments from the show, the refusal to use AI, everything about this is so well crafted! It genuinely feels like what Alastor's show would be like. This deserves so many more than 5k views

I really appreciate this video as someone who likes these kinds of audios- I do like that you're only used official audio of his voice, I like the song choices, and I like that the screams aren't overwhelmingly jarring and more in the background cause that just makes it eerie while not dissuading the average listener- I also do like how the throwback to his lore was included, almost like an intrusive thought that ended up influencing his broadcast-
But that's enough ranting. TLDR; This is going with my favorite videos now.

All of this is excellent, but I'll never not give special props for including "La Vie en Rose" [and the screams following it were a deliciously ironic and IC touch 😂] ❤ It might've been recorded after his time, but Alastor would still love the heck out of this song.

Alastor continues to be my favorite character. I don't exactly know why but something about his charisma towards women and just everything about him I am in love with. This is my favorite video, well done on the whole idea of this video! It's not just a picture of Alastor to make it Hazbin themed but it's actually well thought out and you can tell how much work went into this video! This deserves more views!

When I was working as an AIN in aged care.. Good old night shifts... We had quite a number of residents whom would find it hard to settle down to sleep. I took it upon myself to use music as a means to lull them into a blissfully peaceful slumber... For many of them did have personal radios.. (Not all of them recalled how to exactly tune them due to age.) It was my duty to and thus? I know most of these songs and hold them most fondly to my heart. I recall one lovely lady described it as ''The tunes of old radio are statically set ecstasy to my ears and spark my old soul into remembering more zesty, youthful times." My response? : "Such a genre of musical broadcasting has aged incredibly well. As an old soul myself within a youthful exterior? I know exactly how you feel. Always a pleasure to bring back such happy memories and more importantly? To share new ones with you?? Tis truly an honour." Bless her soul!
Another expressed to me that radio left a lot to one's own imagination. Listening to such music conjures up so so many interpretive scenes to go along with said tunes and in my humble opinion? The introductions of Videos did take away from that... that spark.. so to speak. Don't get me wrong, I am a sucker for nostalgic music videos of the various music artists I grew up with from my youth... but.. There is something strongly to be stated for the lack of audio tracks without such standard videos portraying one set storyline to go with said audio tracks. What can I say? I love to let my mind flex it's creativity whilst I listen to my musical selections. :D
