I was happy to find this at a local nursery this spring. I'm growing it in a container with a black-leaved ajuga and some silvery foliage plants. I didn't know it was evergreen - a nice bonus!

Love mine. It’s definitely worth the time to pick through the pots to assess the clump sizes because they can be all over the place, and buying a large clump to divide is usually more cost effective than buying individuals.

In my patio garden the bunnies/squirrels devoured these beautiful plants several years ago, and it wasn’t even a super cold winter that year - we spent $$$ on mass planting 😢, had to replace with other ground covers - I’m in zone 7A northern virginia

I planted liriope around my patio and rabbits chewed a few to the ground, but left others alone completely! Baffling creatures.

Thank you for this video guys, I’ve been always very intrigued by this plant, but it’s soooo expensive! Can somebody explain the high price tag?

Jim, Mr Maple grows a naturally contorting Japanese maple called ‘Nakakamado Weeping.’ It’s considered a national treasure.

I plan on planting these along a chain link fence to keep the weeds and stuff from growing along it. I hate using a weed eater on my fence line. I'll probably plant them 6 inches apart and stagger them on each side.

I really don't care what it looks like, I heard it was good to inhibit seborrhea on the skin/hair of my poor dog who has Cushings disease! Wonder where I can get did to put on his skin or bathe him with! Thank you for your answer. I live in MN!
