"Yo Yo Yo Yo. Microphone check, One two one two. Are you ready to mosh? Kitsune da o!" Great reaction - I enjoyed that a lot, partly from anticipating how you would react - and then from seeing exactly how you did react. That isn't an L it is a capital i so the song is called 'iine' (ee-neh) but don't worry, everybody makes that same mistake. Iine means 'so good' like a thumbs up emoji. When they describe Yui and Moa as "scream and dance" they don't mean scream in the same way you are thinking. They mean their parts of the songs are the bits people sing along with, they provide the chants (like the "iine iine iine iine" in this song), backing vocals and harmonies. The growls and screams are all on the backing track (including the one Su pretended to do after the metal section before it went back to EDM). You won't see any instrumentalists in videos from this far back - they weren't there yet. This was only their second single and video and they were still a sub-unit of the Idol group Sakura Gakuin. Actually, unless the video is from a live performance after 2013, you won't see any of the Kami Band in any of the official videos. The Kami Band were gradually phased in from October 2012 in anticipation of BABYMETAL splitting from the Idol group in 2013, playing a couple of festivals and encores in some shows to the end of 2013 and only took over full time in early 2014 and for all live shows since then. Before the Kami Band , as I said, BABYMETAL were just a sub-unit of a bigger Idol group and, as Idol groups tend to do, they would sing while pre-recorded instrumentals were played on a backing track and the Babybones (guys dressed in skeleton suits) would dance around behind them waving guitars or sitting behind the drums messing about with drum sticks made of noodles. There was no pretence that they were doing anything more than that, everybody knew they were just there for show. So this isn't the BABYMETAL you are used to ... but this is what BABYMETAL do. As I said, this was just their second single and video and they were establishing from very early on that they don't follow rules and they won't be pigeonholed into just one genre or playing songs that all sound the same. They make their own rules .... and then they break their own rules because they can do whatever the f*** they want and if they want to make a song with 3 or 4 different genres mixed in that's what they will do.
Yeah, this is their most "wtf!?" song lol, even more than Gimme Chocolate. Super fun reaction, enjoyed that one a lot. Check out Megitsune next for a more "proper" song, but just as fun and even heavier.
This song was made when they were in the heavy metal club of the Idol school Sakura Gakuen. I think it was released after Doki Doki Morning. The girls could do a variety of music and dance performances. By the way, Yui and Moa's position are "Dancer and Screamer". One of the Screamer's responsibility is to "connect" with the audience in the concert and make the live performance fun. Which Yui and Moa have done an excellent job!
To me, iine was when they were still trying to figure out how to mash jpop and metal. It's fun as hell, but it wasn't the perfect blend that they later found. It's not my favorite, but I would kill to see it performed live 🤘🦊🦊🦊🤘
Babymetal was performing this song in 2017 as the second song on the setlist when they opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers. I think some RHCP fans might have been surprised. ;-)
@@autohmae That's amazing. I'm a fairly new fan, so I missed out on the early days. I have a hard time seeing this new era Babymetal playing iine, but after what they pulled off at LMG with IDZ, I'll never doubt their creativity and adaptability ever again
Yeah, it's clearly SUPER experimental, and as weird as it is, it makes it crystal clear where they're at their best, and feels like it sets the stage for the direction they took.
I think they meant it had a special part in it, the hip-hop breakdown or the extreme genre mixing feature in it, and they didn't wanna give it away for the sake of a genuine review... I wouldn't give it away, I like seeing reviewers watch that part ;) haha, then the screaming afterward...
I got that Blu-ray few days ago. Those shows are incredible and that stage is ridiculous even at Babymetal standards. There are not many bands which can compete with Babymetal's Japanese shows live production
Alrighty, time to answer some questions you have. In this video Su-metal (lead singer) is 14 and Moa-metal and Yui-metal are 13. There are indeed effects done to Su's voice to get that growls. They have several songs that incorporate screams done that way. This song is on the same album as Gimmie Chocolate and like most of that album, they often blend several genres into one song.
@@OhrionReacts - they started as an idol group. this was their second song. i think what they were trying to do was unify the idol audience with the metal. i think what they were trying to say was that everybody is welcome to listen to Babymetal. thankfully they gave up these extreme genre changes and went to a more blended approach.
@@KenjaTimu actually Iine is Babymetal's 3rd song. The 2nd song was IJIME, DAME, ZETTAI (but it wasn't released until years later) but the first performance of IDZ was in 2011 at a Sakura Gakuin show.
I also resisted this particular song, but in the end my eyes and ears succumbed to the innovativeness of this great band and the kawai of Su, Yui and Moa when they were younger.
Babymetal has their way to surprise people. A song like this isn't meant to be taken serious, it's just a lot of fun. :-) 2:54 no it's just her mouthing along with the per-recorded background vocals. :-) One idea behind this song was: we don't really know where Babymetal will go in the future, so just do anything. :-) But with a serious idea behind it: Babymetal can't be pidgin holed into one (sub)genre, they really are their own unique thing. At best they are their own genre (Kawaii metal aka adorable metal, basically: J-pop and metal) which is what people usually call them. And some bands/groups sometimes get lumped into that genre. The MV was recorded in a club, but no real party, just for the MV. 6:25 my best guess is: maybe Su-metal scream then distorted in the studio and just used per-recorded live and MV. If Poppy isn't Babymetal inspired than I don't know anything. LOL scream don't mean screaming, it's kind of a mis-translation probably on purpose. :-) It's more yelling (think chearleader) to let the audience join in with the movements. Babymetal was performing this song in 2017 as the second song on the setlist when they opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers. I think some RHCP fans might have been surprised. ;-) Some possible routes to take: In a way 'BxMxC' is the new iine. You can only go one song younger: Doki Doki Morning. An other great breakdown: Megitsune
*BabyMetal* was originally created as a Sub-Unit of a school-themed idol group for women named *Sakura Gakuin. (さくら学院)* They had several sub-units, such as: *- Baton Club Twinklestars* *- Tenis Club Pastel Wind* *- Cooking Club MiniPatii* *- Heavy Music Club BabyMetal* *- Newspapers Club SCOOPERS* *- Science Club Kagaku Kyumei Kiko LOGICA?* *- Go Home Club sleepiece* The sub-unit *Heavy Music Club BabyMetal* attracted a lot of everyone's attention with their first song and video *Doki Doki Morning,* they did not waste the situation and continued with the theme until *BabyMetal* became independent of *Sakura Gakuin.* They gained international fame with the song *Gimme Chokko !!* *Sakura Gakuin* has 12 members who some graduated each year and new members are received for a total of 12. *Sakura Gakuin* began in 2010 and continues to this day. They have more than 10 albums, normally they release 1 new album every year when some of their members graduate from *Sakura Gakuin.* Like *BabyMetal, Sakura Gakuin* performs live and uniquely choreographed for each song. I also listen to *Sakura Gakuin* since 2015 day after day ... Each song is unique and different, to say that the songs of the sub-unit called *MiniPatii,* (which by the way, were presented by Yui and Moa) their instrumental it is 8 bit sounds! And the sub-unit *Science Club Kagaku Kyumei Kiko LOGICA?* With Disco music instruments! In case you would like to react to Sakura Gakuin: *My Graduation Toos* - Here you can see Suzuka, Moa and Yui very young *Sakuraino No Avenue* - Suzuka Nakamoto *C'est La Vie* - My favorite song *Monochrome* - From the 10th album released in 2020 *Miracle, Pattyful, Hamburguer* - from the MiniPati sub-unit *Dear Mr. Socrates* - from the Baton Club Twinklestars sub-unit *Science Girl, Silence Boy* - from the sub-unit Science Club Kagaku Kyumei Kiko LOGICA? And so much more! Sakura Gakuin and BabyMetal are owned by Amuse Inc.
About the 'scream' in Yui/Moa's role, that's a bit lost in translation. it was not meant that they do 'Metal Scream Growls', but rather a role like you'd likely to see in Japanese traditional festivals. This role kind of is perfectly potrayed in their song MEGITSUNE where they shout throughout the song to engage the audience. That's what I think. As for the growls itself, especially in IINE , mostly are backtracks. They do however invite Arch Enemy's Alissa White Gluz for the growls in DISTORTION album version. Maybe those two songs could be an option for your next Babymetal reaction: - MEGITSUNE : here's a compilation I did of them performing this song in concerts from 2015-2017 with proshot quality audio and video ruclips.net/video/8wKQHqcGtn4/видео.html . For the official Music Video, it's built more like a movie trailer (it doesn't depict the singers/musicians) ruclips.net/video/1ce456Nnkt8/видео.html Thank you for the great reaction! @@michaelthatsit2662 Just cut off the song from the YT video, leave an explanation and a link and upload it somewhere else. Others may have suggestions to get around copyright issues.
You absolutely gotta check out their music video for Megitsune next. It has a special treat in it that I think you'll enjoy in a wtf is going on kinda way 😁
Love the reaction bro! And Iine (iine) is super super old. It's one of their older ones, like Doki Doki Morning. Both of those songs were when BABYMETAL was just starting out. Also if you haven't checked out Doki Doki Morning, you should. Can't wait to see more of them from your channel man.
@@OhrionReacts It's all good! It's just the way they put the title in lol. And I'm glad you enjoyed this, I can see your face a while ago that you dont like Rap very much hahaha.
@@OhrionReacts Hahaha i can totally get behind that! I dont like rap just in itself, but when it's in metal it gets a pass hahaha. Ronnie from falling in reverse does a spectacular job of incorporating rap in metal!
"Iine!" (いいね!, "Isn't it good!"). The band premiered the song at the concert “Woman's Power 20th Anniversary” at Shibuya O-West on January 9, 2012. The music video for "Iine!", directed by Daishinszk, was uploaded in part to the Toy's Factory RUclips channel on February 24, 2012, while the full video was uploaded to the official Babymetal channel on November 8, 2012. Su Metal stated that the song expressed the band's desire to establish a fun, aggressive, new genre in music, and challenged them to rap. Commentary from BabyMetal for this MV: ruclips.net/video/iytz1uyoLyQ/видео.html
LOL. That was a fun reaction!!. The classic 'WTF' moment, followed by 'that was kinda fun tho'. You might not like it now, and you might still won't like it later, but at least they caught you off guard the way no other band did, right~ On a more serious note: the live ones hits way harder than the official MV, even the hip-hop part I ended up liking it.
I heard this song at what I consider the perfect time back in like April/May. At first I had some of that "I can't listen to this because the hip hop part embarrasses ME too much!" because it was a "WTF" moment. Once I gave it a proper listen and chance, I liked it because it reminded me of those really upbeat, summer songs I'd hear get released on the radio when I was a kid and I loved those. I will never skip over this song when it comes up...not that I skip over almost any of their songs anyway, but I just like it too much. It gives me that summer feel, similar to "Pa Pa Ya", just not quite the same because of the changing in genres throughout. It is unfortunate they don't play it anymore, but I understand that sometimes you have to give up the "kid" stuff and keep moving forward. If and when they do the shows to celebrate their 10th anniversary this fall, I have a feeling they are going to hit every song in their catalog, including the one-off's and covers like "Breaking the Law" and such. I hope they stream those shows for a nominal fee so a lot of people can watch and enjoy them. We shall see.
Hey! Its more Babymetal!!! So, I believe this is my first time commenting on one of your vids (even though I've subbed and watched all your Babymetal reactions). Going back is just fine, rewinding is ok, its your channel! This song is, I believe, their 3rd song after Doki Doki Morning and Ijime, Dame, Zettai. It was their second single though and second MV as well. IDZs MV didn't come out till way after it's debut. Iine (iine pronounced ee-neh) was when Babymetal was still experimenting with their sound and is a big thumbs up (ahem) to people trying to categorized them. This song says "hey, we do what we want! Metal? Yes! Techno? Yes! Rap? Why not?! We do what we want!" As for the gutterals in this and any song, it was definitely not done by the girls at all (unless it was a distorted and effected backtrack of their vocals), but about 2 people now have been accredited for them in the second and 3rd albums, but I don't remember who. Gonna recommend Awadama Fever (grindy music and super cute vocals and choreo). AF is said to be a bigger thumbs up (ahem), to Babymetal haters that called their music bubblegum music for kids. So they, naturally, made a song about a mint flavored bubblegum time machine that can grant your dreams! Love it! Here's Babymetal slapping people in the face, but doing so in the most cute and positive way! Yes. Great reaction again! Kitsune up! \m/
"This isn't the Babymetal I know." Dude, Babymetal has ALWAYS been about *fusion*. It was their founding premise: J-POP IDOL lyrics and subject matter, with heavy metal sounds and visuals. Fusion of diverse genre, fusion within genre - whatever. That's why you never know what you're going to get with them, whether it's the next song or within the same song. It's all about bringing people together, yo. Aside from all of that, just enjoy whatever they do. It's always one hell of a ride.
⚡ 💀 💕 / 👍 BABYMETAL don't usually discuss who contributed to the studio versions, but the musician listed in BABYMETAL credits as TAKEMETAL (Takeru Youda) did growls on the second album. He also co-wrote the music for 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' on the first record. In any case, that's not what "scream and dance" means when applied to Yui and Moa. For them, it means the parts of the songs where they are encouraging the crowd to participate, as well as their backing vocals that are like encouraging cheers. It's not literal or heavy metal type screaming.
All male growls are prerecorded :P Drinking age in Japan is 20 This song is like BABYMETAL autobiography: they started as J-pop gruop, performing in clubs, when metal was getting overshadowed by Hip-hop/Rap and then they brought metal back to the big venues by combining J-pop and Heavy Metal. Yui and Moa were doing screaming like chants, shout-ins but not the growls. If You want to see/hear them actually singing check out their BLACK BABYMETAL songs (Sis Anger, 4 no Uta, GJ!, Onedari Daisakusen) or alternatively Moabanger/Yuibanger or DA DA DANCE where Moa has a solo verse :)
This was like their second song so they were still part of the idol group and this was just a sub group of that, no one (except maybe Koba) knew they would ever go on to be anything more than that, so this is really a Jpop take of heavymetal, it is still very cool though
@@OhrionReacts - you didn't see a band because they didn't have one yet. the first appearance of the kami band was late 2012. well, and because the kami band never appears in music videos. only live videos and music videos with concert footage. the kami band doesn't record the album versions or do any appearances. all they do is concerts
@@OhrionReacts - i wouldn't use this song to gauge that. they sounded the same except the music was pre-recorded. IDZ was written about the same time as iine and it's one of their heavier songs, iine is simply a weird song.
@@OhrionReacts - Babymetal doesn't get near enough credit for how experimental they are. 1/4 of their songs are f'ing weird. if you want to see the humble beginnings of babymetal i love this video. 60fps conversion - BABYMETAL - Iine! - Sakura Gakuin Graduation Departures 2011 ruclips.net/video/XeDgyu9EuwE/видео.html
I know how you feel bro, About the same reaction I had when I first heard it, now I actually like the song quite a bit and that breakdown OMFG, after the J-pop-electr-rap Is sooo fffffin heavy. But yeah this is how they started, and at least it got them where they are now. Kitsune’s up!
Hahaha... nice one, thanks! I felt exactly the same the first time I listened to this song and this is why I catalog it as BABYMETAL "advanced level". It took me some time but I ended up loving this song, better played full blast, specially that filthy metal breakdown :) See you next time!
You'd be thinking this song weren't able performed live. But it were really performed well in live :) Talking about 'black',maybe you mean Black Babymetal. Better go to "Sis Anger"
That was the mv. When they performed it live and the Kami band get involved, it became mad. The girls went mad, Kami band went mad, the crowd were super-duper mad. All of us that could only watch all the madness on screen would go green with envy and wishing that we were there and became as mad as those people we're seing.
This was near the very beginning, the birth if you will, of BABYMETAL. They have grown up as we have grown. The music has evolved as we have gotten older, and changed as well. Everything has to start someplace and iine was part of birthing if BABYMETAL. Accept that it is all glorious fun. It's like how did the original Beatles: A hard Day's Night, or I want to hold your hand, become the psychedelic crap that they did before they broke up. they evolved they changed they grew up, not necessarily for the better, imho.
This was a lot of fun! :) I love the song, it's so weird and entertaining. (And you can see where Poppy might have gotten the inspiration for her change of style in 2018, when she started doing her "shock" songs like "X".)
The video is crazy and yeah it's when they were 12, 10 and 10 years old. It was all over the place but like you said it is just fun and catchy. It grew on me and the Live version is better. It's so much more fun live and you get to see the Kami band as well. They changed it up some for live shows. They stopped doing the rap portion and made it more of a crowd participation part. Then goes into that heavy section, then back to the catchy part. Again, just fun as always with BabyMetal.
I had no idea what to think of this song the first time I heard it. But I really enjoy it now. And I've finally heard enough Babymetal songs to know that I don't know what to expect next.
They are singing to “take off your Rap shades and do the head banging instead” with a Rap break. This was a message to people to come back to heavy metal music. Anyways the song will be pretty awesome if you listen to it few more times. Combining all those genres in one song really worked in this song.
When I saw the title, I click on your video SO fast! LOL! I love people's reaction to this video way more than to Gimme Chocolate. Great reaction! I have never laughed so much to a reaction video like I did to this one!
It's the old babymetal, one of the dancers yui left the group and now it's almost the same, but I've seen it as a dark side, it's a combination of rap, metal, electronic music, in wikipedia they say the word "idol" in the gender section
I know this is an old video but, this song is off of Babymetal's first album. Same album has Gimme Chocolate. They were very experimental in their first album
It's probably been said a few times, but this was very early. Their 2nd or 3rd song. They were still 100% a sub unit of SG and KOBAMETAL was in 100% mad scientist mode. We get to enjoy this gem. Maybe the most kawaii choreo too.
Hahaha that was awesome. This is the beauty of Babymetal bro, ever since the beginning their songs were always catchy and we never really knew what to expect. This is super pop-ish and dancy but I still love it. It's funny that by the end he was kinda bobbing his head and admitting that it's super catchy. It always starts with a "WTF" moment and then you realize a part of you likes it but doesn't know why and then eventually you admit to yourself that you like it and become part of The One. #notacult
This was the third song they ever played, second video released. I don't think they had settled on a sound yet, they were still evolving. The scream in scream and dance is more like chanting and backup vocals, Yui and Moa don't really scream. Su on the other hand; the consensus is that is not her screaming, but I'm not sure either way. Thing to me is that scream is the same timber as Su's voice. So I don't know. I am a huge babymetal fan, but not a fan of this song though many love it. To me it is all over the place and needs to be edited down a little. But they're metal monsters, and I'm not. So what do I know.
I always like how this song catches reactors off guard after they see Chocolate/Karate they think they're used to BABYMETAL and then this song comes along. lolol
Yeah, it's different. But Babymetal has always been experimented with other genres - even today. I love this song, it's just so fun and I love the different parts and it's very surprising when you hear it the first time.^^
Oooh deep dive. This was what age 10/12?! They were really mixing a lot of different genres with metal. You should watch Babymetal reacts to RUclipsrs react to babymetal. You won’t be disappointed. As for the next one, babymetal live at sonisphere 2014 Ijme dame zettai That’s a historic one for them
Dude you need to find the person that lied to you about the Blegh . No Babymetal song has a blegh lol. Well, good thing they got you to check this out anyway. I've always loved how chaotic this song is. Edit: if you ever hear autotune with Babymetal, it's cause they wanted the effect. You already know how great a singer she is 😉. Also, none of them can scream from what I know. There's an anonymous screamer for them, and it's playback when live.
So we are clear, the screams and growls are NOT the girls. The appeal of them back during the first album era WAS that it was WTF all over the place. They started to reign it in on the second album and refined it for Metal Galaxy. IMO Metal Resistance (second album) is their best album. Megitsune is a brilliant WTF mix of styles.
Bro, you need watch this song Live! Is abaolutely crazy!!! Believe me. But, you need watch first Black Babymetal Sís Anger live! Moa and Yui are absolutely amazing and perfects!! 🤟🏻 🦊
iine is the patchwork sing of babymetal. It's their second single when Su have 15 and Moa and Yui have 13. Koba metal was still looking for the style of the group at that time.

This is the Babymetal I know, though 'iine' is quite out there even for the first album. The newer stuff (Karate, Pa Pa Ya, etc.) almost sound generic to me, and it hurts to say that... Granted, 'Karate' is more of an homage to the art and the culture. Distortion is probably the best song since the first album, and again, it kinda hurts to say that 'cuz I want to be open and like all their songs. Instead, I'm clinging on to the first album, and try to be open when I listen to something newer.
It's certainly one of their (probablyTHE) weirdest songs, but this IS BABYMETAL. Genre blending is what they do, and always have done. You should always expect the unexpected. They just may have taken it to an extreme with this one... I love the tiny "Yo"s :-) The growls are certainly not done by the girls, though.

Haha I appreciate that message! Helps a lot 🔥
I couldn't have put it better myself.
@@OhrionReacts - kind of a shame imo, you do so little Babymetal and there are 40 better Babymetal songs.

Yeah, this is their most "wtf!?" song lol, even more than Gimme Chocolate. Super fun reaction, enjoyed that one a lot. Check out Megitsune next for a more "proper" song, but just as fun and even heavier.
Haha can't wait!
He hasn't hit Megitsune yet?? Oh, that needs to happen.
@@OhrionReacts For Megitsune, react to the MV. It's a good MV and hits harder than the live version.
Or the Legend 1997 performance of Death.
I feel like this song was just a runaround to make you suprised for the metal part lmao it’s awesome even if it wasn’t lmao
Most WTF BABYMETAL songs: Gimme Chocolate, Iine, BxMxC, Tales of the Destines.

Rondo of Nightmare 🦊🤘♥
I wish u watched their dvd live at tokyo dome....they're insanely awesome!!!!
Haha definitely need to!
I got that Blu-ray few days ago. Those shows are incredible and that stage is ridiculous even at Babymetal standards. There are not many bands which can compete with Babymetal's Japanese shows live production
It’s a great song live. The guitar and drum sounds are naturally more prominent and the crowd gets involved in the rap.
Haha that's amazing! Thanks Brother!!! Haha this song was dope tho 👌🦊
This was early 2012 so Moa and Yui were 12. And Su yes, was 14.
2:54 no it's just her mouthing along with the per-recorded background vocals. :-)
One idea behind this song was: we don't really know where Babymetal will go in the future, so just do anything. :-)
But with a serious idea behind it: Babymetal can't be pidgin holed into one (sub)genre, they really are their own unique thing.
I think some RHCP fans might have been surprised. ;-)
Some possible routes to take:
In a way 'BxMxC' is the new iine.
You can only go one song younger: Doki Doki Morning.
An other great breakdown: Megitsune
For sure the next one :D
You've just got iine(ed)!! 🤣🤣

Haha I did indeed
*BabyMetal* was originally created as a Sub-Unit of a school-themed idol group for women named *Sakura Gakuin. (さくら学院)*
They had several sub-units, such as:
*- Baton Club Twinklestars*
*- Tenis Club Pastel Wind*
*- Cooking Club MiniPatii*
*- Heavy Music Club BabyMetal*
*- Newspapers Club SCOOPERS*
*- Science Club Kagaku Kyumei Kiko LOGICA?*
*- Go Home Club sleepiece*
The sub-unit *Heavy Music Club BabyMetal* attracted a lot of everyone's attention with their first song and video *Doki Doki Morning,* they did not waste the situation and continued with the theme until *BabyMetal* became independent of *Sakura Gakuin.* They gained international fame with the song *Gimme Chokko !!*
*Sakura Gakuin* has 12 members who some graduated each year and new members are received for a total of 12.
In case you would like to react to Sakura Gakuin:
*My Graduation Toos* - Here you can see Suzuka, Moa and Yui very young
*Sakuraino No Avenue* - Suzuka Nakamoto
*C'est La Vie* - My favorite song
*Monochrome* - From the 10th album released in 2020
*Miracle, Pattyful, Hamburguer* - from the MiniPati sub-unit
*Dear Mr. Socrates* - from the Baton Club Twinklestars sub-unit
*Science Girl, Silence Boy* - from the sub-unit Science Club Kagaku Kyumei Kiko LOGICA? And so much more!
Sakura Gakuin and BabyMetal are owned by Amuse Inc.
How can you leave out "Ganbare!"
Song For Smiling. Friend.
Maybe those two songs could be an option for your next Babymetal reaction:
- MEGITSUNE : here's a compilation I did of them performing this song in concerts from 2015-2017 with proshot quality audio and video ruclips.net/video/8wKQHqcGtn4/видео.html . An official music video also available but it's a little old ruclips.net/video/cK3NMZAUKGw/видео.html .
- DISTORTION : this one is from their performance in 2018 in Download festival ruclips.net/video/FzgU3W5ZgzU/видео.html . For the official Music Video, it's built more like a movie trailer (it doesn't depict the singers/musicians) ruclips.net/video/1ce456Nnkt8/видео.html

LOL. That was a fun reaction!!. The classic 'WTF' moment, followed by 'that was kinda fun tho'. You might not like it now, and you might still won't like it later, but at least they caught you off guard the way no other band did, right~
On a more serious note: the live ones hits way harder than the official MV, even the hip-hop part I ended up liking it.
Haha of course 🤘🔥 glad you enjoyed it!
Metal? Yes! Techno? Yes! Rap? Why not?! We do what we want!"
As for the gutterals in this and any song, it was definitely not done by the girls at all (unless it was a distorted and effected backtrack of their vocals), but about 2 people now have been accredited for them in the second and 3rd albums, but I don't remember who.
Kitsune up! \m/
Thanks girl! Welcome back :) glad you enjoyed bit 🤘🦊🔥
⚡ 💀 💕 / 👍
BABYMETAL don't usually discuss who contributed to the studio versions, but the musician listed in BABYMETAL credits as TAKEMETAL (Takeru Youda) did growls on the second album.
All male growls are prerecorded :P
Drinking age in Japan is 20
This song is like BABYMETAL autobiography: they started as J-pop gruop, performing in clubs, when metal was getting overshadowed by Hip-hop/Rap and then they brought metal back to the big venues by combining J-pop and Heavy Metal.

Bruh that breakdown, and it’s the first Babymetal song I’ve heard back in 2013, it’s what got me hooked
This was like their second song so they were still part of the idol group and this was just a sub group of that, no one (except maybe Koba) knew they would ever go on to be anything more than that, so this is really a Jpop take of heavymetal, it is still very cool though

Talking about 'black',maybe you mean Black Babymetal. Better go to "Sis Anger"
What genre do you want on this song?
BabyMetal: Yes!
That was the mv. When they performed it live and the Kami band get involved, it became mad. The girls went mad, Kami band went mad, the crowd were super-duper mad. You can't let them catch you off guard with the metal; they all joined the Sakura Gakuin Heavy Music Club for a reason.
And they just played this a little over a week ago live 😂😂❤❤
This was near the very beginning, the birth if you will, of BABYMETAL. They have grown up as we have grown. The music has evolved as we have gotten older, and changed as well. Everything has to start someplace and iine was part of birthing if BABYMETAL.
Accept that it is all glorious fun.
It's like how did the original Beatles: A hard Day's Night, or I want to hold your hand, become the psychedelic crap that they did before they broke up. they evolved they changed they grew up, not necessarily for the better, imho.
It's cool to see the early stuff!

Haha yo same 🔥🤘
They are singing to “take off your Rap shades and do the head banging instead” with a Rap break. This was a message to people to come back to heavy metal music. Anyways the song will be pretty awesome if you listen to it few more times. Combining all those genres in one song really worked in this song.
iiine is their transition from pop to rap to metal.

It's the old babymetal, one of the dancers yui left the group and now it's almost the same, but I've seen it as a dark side, it's a combination of rap, metal, electronic music, in wikipedia they say the word "idol" in the gender section
I read somewhere that Koba Metal set this up at a metal club on a regular night.

Break it!

@@BareThomas84 definitely noted! Haha thanks buds!
@@OhrionReacts This is the best live we have so far, it is a fancam compilation but the quality (visuals and audio) is good. The first pro shot will be on the DVD being released next month. ruclips.net/video/slAJi4xl4kw/видео.html
@@Grington300 I would more recommend ruclips.net/video/BjNHAZAAQug/видео.html where to me the audio is better (pretty sure the compilation your linked used this audio, but it seems lossly recompressed). I don't think you need a compilation of fancam too.
We are called The One. They made a fan tribute song called The One and its about us.
This is definitely one of their stranger songs ever!!! Still very interesting video!
I live in Japan and the drinking age is 20.

@@OhrionReacts I hope you react to Scandal soon.
In stead of doing the usual"BLEEEEEH" part... Instead in this video they do "YEEAAAOOOHHH"
Haha totally
This is the Babymetal I know, though 'iine' is quite out there even for the first album. The newer stuff (Karate, Pa Pa Ya, etc.) almost sound generic to me, and it hurts to say that...
Granted, 'Karate' is more of an homage to the art and the culture. Distortion is probably the best song since the first album, and again, it kinda hurts to say that 'cuz I want to be open and like all their songs. Instead, I'm clinging on to the first album, and try to be open when I listen to something newer.
Intro of the song: this is not baby metal
Middle of the song: ok, my bad
5:50 Y'all wanted a reaction video, right? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 there's your reaction
🤘🏼😝🤘🏼
It would be fun seeing you reacting to Opivm - It Was Only a Dream🤘
Can't say I've heard of them 🤘🔥
Fun fact, it's actually not 'Line' but 'ee-ne' (いいね - iine), it's just easier for English speaking listeners :)
It's Still Babymetal 🦊🤟🏼🤣
Haha definitely 👌🔥🦊
More Babymetal 🦊🤟🏼
@@beelzebub8756 MOREEEE
YEA MOORRREEEE!! All of their Songs!! 🤟🏼🦊🤟🏼🦊
It's certainly one of their (probablyTHE) weirdest songs, but this IS BABYMETAL. Genre blending is what they do, and always have done. You should always expect the unexpected. They just may have taken it to an extreme with this one... I love the tiny "Yo"s :-)
The growls are certainly not done by the girls, though.
Great reaction mate.
Forget that every Baby Metal song is different from the others :)))
You haven't even seen their first song, Doki Doki Morning - official MVNot to mention Megitsune - official MV
And you watched only 6-7 songs from their work
Thanks for watching!🔥🤘🦊
You know whats more fun that this MV. Its this MV with commentaries of SuMetal MoaMetal and YuiMetal. Here is the link drive.google.com/file/d/0BwyYxJXMwmWKWGVDUFhoVE5rOXc/view?usp=drivesdk.
I highly recommend you to the MV with commentary of the girls with CC
Excelente! BabyMetal 10 years Hedobangeeer. BabyMetal loop . Iine from 2012 and Da Da Dance from 2020...loop!
The rumor is that the girls were taught the "metal horns" and got it wrong and did the "Fox" gesture instead, so their production crew just came up with that Fox god lore instead.
Babymetal:DISTORTION next please
