This is the one tune that helped my kid sleep for years. The dvd would end and then play this in a continuous loop. My youngest now has started the same routine; once again the household is getting peaceful nights. I truly praise the music and all who helped develop/release it! 👍👍👍👍

@@Utsabo-ChanWell, most people think it's creepy, so I guess that'd be the normal opinion? Personally, I just think it's a chill little tropical beat.
The most cynical explanation is that you used to fall asleep to this song as a kid or at least be told to go to bed. So you associate this song with "teleporting" to your bed the next morning. Psychologically, it's your parents that are "watching" you.
I remember when I was a kid I had a little DVD player and my 3 spongebob dvds and each night I’d fall asleep watching these episodes and whenever my mom came to wake me up she always mentioned how every night she would hear this and it drove her nuts but I miss the days when that would happen it’s been 6 years since and I wish I could go back to one of those nights and wake up to that again you never realize how nice something so little like that is till it’s gone

after Steaven died , the show got TERRIBLE i was a big fan of the show but now its trash, i dont even bother to watch it anymore. I miss the god episodes :(
I feel like the newer sponge bob has been a reason for me disliking the show and beginning to find him annoying. Because like, I use to love him but then it just began to fall out I suppose.
@CAT CAT despite the change in spongebob's color, and in some episodes, even radically eccentric behavior from SpongeBob, and the crew, as well as just the general outcome of the show, I still watch the show and enjoy it. Spongebob Squarepants is my favorite tv show of all time.
Just imagine this, The last episode of Spongebob. Spongebob finally gets his driving licence and goes to watch the sunset. He says his last good byes to His friends as he hugs them saying 'I enjoyed my time here with you guys and I wanted to say this for a very long time and I think now is the moment.' 'Goodbye Family. ' He sets of for his journey as Squidward, Patrick, Mr crabs and Sandy Tear up and follow him. He watches the sunset Saying to him self that it's time to go. He sits there and just stares with tears running down his face, Remembering all the good times he had. Once the sun sets he gets into his car and then drives off As he takes one look back at Bikini bottoms. The camera then slowly zooms out, We then hear the song being played and the French narrator saying 'Far well bikini bottoms' And there you can see everyone watching sponge bob leaving for good. Finally, it ends with the screen closing its eyes taking a rest.
i need to get this out, don't mind me this makes me nostalgic of when i was much younger, when the most of my worries was just what i would play next with my older sister. before i knew that the world is dying, before i knew how much the world and many big companies suck, before all these deaths and tragedies and the pandemic happened, before my parents finally went through with a divorce. so much has happened this year, australian wildfires, all these deaths that hit especially hard because of how many are happening (rick may, nimblz, george floyd, among many others, and countless other faces history won't remember, RIP ❤️), the pandemic, my older sister moving out against my mom's will pushing my parents' relationship to the edge and now they're divorcing... idk man, i wish i could go back to simpler times when i could just watch spongebob on dvds with my family and not have to worry about anything and watch the credits as i listened to the closing theme song
I wish you luck. I’ve been passing through very similar problems since I was born... Now I just want to finish my college and get to live alone before I cant face my problems anymore.
A legendary show, one millions enjoy, funny, calming (at times), and one of the best shows on television. We all can say we grew up with SpongeBob, and we are all grateful. To Nickelodeon Studios, the amazing team, and the legendary creator, Late great Stephen Hillenburg, thank you for making our childhoods a lot better
I cry whenever I hear this. I remember when I was young and I got home from a long day at school, I would always turn on the TV to tune in to the latest Spongebob episode. The characters were like family. The childlike Spongebob, the greedy Mr. Krabs, all of them. I remember after 2 or 3 episodes I would turn the TV off and go do my homework. Once I was done with whatever the assignment was, I would ask my mom to make me a bowl of cereal. Late at night, when mom and dad were asleep, I'd turn on the TV again. My eylids would slowly close. I fell asleep to the soothing closing song.
You know what I remember trying watching all seasons when I was eight I fell asleep on the couch while this theme was playing, man I should’ve finished the next day
Remember the spongebob dvds that had those crazy menu’s that were just fun to watch while this music played on a loop. Great times! First 100 episodes anyone?
This song drives me crazy because whenever I'd fall asleep from watching spongebob I'd just hear this over and over again when I woke up in the middle of the night
Considering how most only get a few hours a day of free time to themselves, this pandemic has been a source of travesty in the form of starvation and general poverty, while also simultaneously a source of freedom. What I'm trying to say is that this past year has probably given you just as much freetime in one year alone as what you would have only gotten in the span of 7 years.
I turned 13 around a month ago and the last year of my life was the slowest and fastest by far. It’s honestly perplexing me. So many things have happened, yet I have so much free time. I feel like I’ve aged an entire year within just 1 year though. It’s crazy.
i just turned 13 as well, and i have recently looked back at my childhood and realized how long ago it seems, even though i was still technically a child 2 months ago
There is such an air of not only nostalgia but sadness associated with this song for me. This song was rarely ever heard, due to the Nickelodeon commercials usually taking its place. I only ever heard it every so often at the end of the really old episodes, the really good ones. It always signified the end of the fun, the end of the cartoons, and left me sad, knowing that I would have to go back to doing homework. The tone of the song left me sitting on the floor, in a melancholy pocket of time, confronting the fact that I would have to leave the TV and bring myself back to my room to work on tedious math worksheets once more.
There will never be a show like this, so bizarre and yet I don’t think there was anyone I knew who didn’t like it at least the first season up to the movie… and this song somehow manages to make you feel sad and happy not matter the time you listening to… what a great show
This should be played in someone's funeral. Edit: I've been listening this for 5 hours in total now, and the more you listen to it, it feels just like a normal beach scene music

This is the one tune that helped my kid sleep for years. The dvd would end and then play this in a continuous loop. My youngest now has started the same routine; once again the household is getting peaceful nights. I truly praise the music and all who helped develop/release it! 👍👍👍👍
your giving that kid nightmares for sure

The most cynical explanation is that you used to fall asleep to this song as a kid or at least be told to go to bed. So you associate this song with "teleporting" to your bed the next morning. Psychologically, it's your parents that are "watching" you.

@CAT CAT despite the change in spongebob's color, and in some episodes, even radically eccentric behavior from SpongeBob, and the crew, as well as just the general outcome of the show, I still watch the show and enjoy it.
Spongebob Squarepants is my favorite tv show of all time.
This is what goes on in my head every day
The sort of credits that you just sit there and watch cus the music is too good
Just imagine this, The last episode of Spongebob. Spongebob finally gets his driving licence and goes to watch the sunset. He says his last good byes to His friends as he hugs them saying
'I enjoyed my time here with you guys and I wanted to say this for a very long time and I think now is the moment.'
'Goodbye Family. '
He sets of for his journey as Squidward, Patrick, Mr crabs and Sandy Tear up and follow him.

To Nickelodeon Studios, the amazing team, and the legendary creator, Late great Stephen Hillenburg, thank you for making our childhoods a lot better
This song is playful yet deeply melancholic at the same time
Edit: wow you're liking comments 2 months later, what a legend
At the end of every day, before going to bed, I listen to this to just chill. It helps me to prepare for sleep. Thanks for making it.
Damn

I’m 13, but in the past year it feels like I’ve aged 7 years.
Man I’m only 19 and I already wish I could be 13, again treasure and make the best of your time guys!!

Welcome back to another episode of What’s In My Recommended.
Unoriginal and not funny
There is such an air of not only nostalgia but sadness associated with this song for me. This song was rarely ever heard, due to the Nickelodeon commercials usually taking its place. I only ever heard it every so often at the end of the really old episodes, the really good ones. It always signified the end of the fun, the end of the cartoons, and left me sad, knowing that I would have to go back to doing homework. The tone of the song left me sitting on the floor, in a melancholy pocket of time, confronting the fact that I would have to leave the TV and bring myself back to my room to work on tedious math worksheets once more.
This should be played right after every time something ridiculous happens
