Quick tip, when removing the wheel itself, crack the t45 nut and wind it out half way. You can then use full force to pull it off without knocking your teeth out :)
Having a mk11 I’ve found that this video find of works, I first got delivered no instructions with my paddle shifters thanks, and after installing straight off of this video alone downshift isn’t working, cheers.
I worked it out. For Ford fg zf6 mki data cables are brown with White strip and grey with white strip. Not the blue wire as per this video as this is for a 5 speed.
I bought this it arrived today. Was very easy to fit. But first I could only fit 3 of 8 tiny screws in the paddles, that I could deal with but after hooking everything up and taking the car for a test drive. My left paddle dosnt work. I will be ringing kayhan cause I'm not happy
Should be noted that the video is recorded using a FG Mk1 but with the 5 spd gearbox.. They should mention that in video, or atleast in the description. Still working on a issue with my shifters causing the performance 'S' to light up if up or down is pressed while 'off' or in 'ACC'
There is a mistake (I think) in the installation manual that comes with the kit. At the bottom of the page titled "WIRING STEP 2" there is a reference to "DATA - (WHITE WIRE) TO WHITE AND RED WIRE" - there is no WHITE AND RED wire! It is actually the BROWN AND WHITE wire. In the photo you can see it is not a White and Red wire, but the other way to tell is that it is the pin directly below the GREY AND RED WIRE. Hope that helps saves someone from some head-scratching... 🍻
Hey mate. Do you have the kit in a Fg with a 6 Spd ZF? I purchased the kit, & v4 head unit and when car is powered off or in ACC, you up or downshift and the performance 'S' lights up and the 'P' dulls down a bit... Any issues with yours?
@@dashcamaus1974 I have a 2011, FG, i6 + 6spd ZF. No, no issues at all. However, I did notice that when I installed and went to test it before putting everything back together properly I got funky results when triggering the paddles in that I would get the 2nd or 3rd gear randomly displayed but couldn't go down to 1st or past 3rd. Once I put everything together (steering wheel on, airbag connected, wiring, etc.) it was OK - so I'm thinking it might have had something to do with the system not having a proper ground until properly and completely installed. Maybe you have an issue that is similar? Or you haven't connected properly to the Fuse panel (dud/dodgy fuse or holder)? Really does sound like you haven't got something wired to the right place...
@@allisterdavidson9805 lol, well the best thing I did was get rid of my fg xr6 falcon-fckn money pit is what it was turning into. Only had 106,000 ks on the clock and the peice of sht 5 speed transmission started playing up,servos slipping and just not changing gears smoothly. I got told by a reputable transmission mechanic that the 5 speed transmissions in the falcons are one of the worst made trannys ever and expensive to replace or rebuild so I got rid of the fckn thing, someone else's problem now. I have a very reliable and well made Toyota now and it's so much better car I can't beging to tell you. I'd be here all night telling you how much better it is. Ford can kiss my ass, great engines but that's about the only thing they have going for them.
@@Healthliving1967 Mines the 6 speed FGII. But yes I agree about Ford finishes. We owned an AU years ago and it was shit. Then we moved to Toyota's (Klugers) both awesome cars. However with tightnening the money belt We sold our Kluger for a Territory and I've just had to sell my Navara for an XR6 Ute. So I'll make the most of a bad situation. What can you do! You just gotta take it on the chin.
Good wireless
Love how Kayhan Audio breaks down the info in an easy-to-understand and bloody captivating way.
can you just get the illuminated buttons without the shifter ?
The videos help me get an overall view of Kayhan Audio's product lineup.
Bloody stoked with Kayhan Audio's videos, they're seriously helpful and help me make purchasing decisions.

The videos are deadset helpful in helping me decide to get Kayhan Audio products.
Do you have any model for Cruze?
Genuine best for your car 😊

Hey yeah same as mine. My down shifting isn't working. Kayhan told me to cut the grey wire. I did and now none work.
Try swapping data - to a brown and white wire
yeah ive done the same and no down shift or volume.
I'm having a similar issue with no down shift, I have not checked volume yet

Do the products come with remote control functionality, or is it all touchscreen?

Why would you want to install paddle shifters in an automatic car?
To enjoy the gorgeous ZF with 400kW.
