Oh how I love to see people caring for their animals with gratitude. I know you have had a lot going on, but I have missed seeing this kind of video and it lightened my heart a little from all that is going on elsewhere. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely love the children being involved! Bri you are looking so beautiful and in great shape! If only I could make myself be outside more, ughhhh. Waiting for cooler weather 😁 Love watching all the tenderness & kindness with the critters ❤️Take care and thank you for the update.
Bri I love watching your videos, it is always something I look forward to!! Such beautiful moments with your girls and your animals AKA fur babies!! Blessing to you family
Y'all are my favorite homestead family channel to watch and my kids love to watch also. The quality and content of videos are wonderful. Till we can get on our own bigger homestead we love watching everyday life. Thank you for sharing
Bri...an update on the Dolly saga please. Will she be bred for spring calving? I just would love to watch that process up close and personal. You may not be pleased with the hay sharing but Dolly seems to love the pasture mates and sharing her treasure trove of hay!!! The goats are cute but Dolly melts my heart. :)
I just love watching and learning about your homestead farm days. I plan to buy some land and start a homestead myself, thanks for all the great vlogs, and wonderful ideas.
Sweet video. That fly spray was working really good. Did you ever find out if it worked for mosquitoes? That would be big video hit if it did that too! Everybody is still suffering everywhere these 2 years later.
Mad respect to the woman capable of having the camera so low as she jumps over a fence in shorts- your legs are amazing!! I mean that it a sincere way. I do not have fit legs (hopefully when I am doing more on the land I will lol!) so I'd have seen footage of myself and just deleted it but man you look great. Showing all those mama's out there what's up about staying fit and healthy on the land! I love it. Great video, thanks for another.
What a sweet family! I especially loved the girls walking through the field, holding hands. What sweet girls - they're building relationship for a lifetime! I also loved Art's overalls - my daddy used to wear them everyday. Bri, it's a wonder you don't get your legs eaten up with chiggers & mosquitos, but I love your outfits too! Can you put Dolly in a different pasture to keep the goats from eating her hay?
hi good morning Brian love the way you and the girls take such great care of Dolly and the goats, there looking great nice job, love the video as always looking forward to seeing more videos, till tomorrow same time same place, God bless 👋 bye. 🐮🐐
That water supply is awesome! So is your fly spray, seems to work really well. Good to see you and the girls, send a little of that rain down our way will you? Looks so green and refreshing there.
Rhonna Marsden Are you by chance in Fl.? My best friend is in Middleburg and last night when i told her we had been getting so much rain in Al.,she said"Send some of that rain down our way!" She's been having to pay more for hay.
Was there a homestead or road on the other side of your fence at one time. Thought I saw an old mailbox on the other side of the fence row. (around 8:15-8:16) History of the land is so intriguing. Your children are so helpful and follow your instructions. So sad that Dolly has been unable to breed, she is a wonderful cow.
I've noticed in the past that you were not sure which goat had already been given their supplement. You might consider writing the names of each of the goats on individual popsicle sticks (actually half of a stick) and stick them down inside each of those little balls of nutrient. Of course, you would then remove the stick as you feed the nutrient to each goat, that way you will know which goat has received their supplement. Just an idea. Also, you might try to find a one or two quart pressurized spray bottle like the kind you pump to pressurize. That will make spraying the cow twice as easy. Not sure if it will spook the cow, but might be worth trying.
Love to see and learn from your videos. My husband and I have been wanting to homestead for the past 5 yrs. we are just now getting around to putting our home up for sale. Do you recommend your area of Asheville for homesteading. we don't know where to move to but love what we see in your video. Would lo ve to get your advice. Also love the way you speak to your children with patience and love. You are wonderful parents. thanks so much !
Is there a chance that Dolly might concieve after a rest and good food? By the way, love the scenery, it reminds me of where I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
Can you please make a video about preparing goats milk from start to finish please? I'm looking to own some goats for milk and have no idea about preparing the milk.
re: molasses balls, I thought you were baking. Then I thought, why is she putting them in the egg carton? Then, I thought Art is baking.....so I'm really glad you explained !
I wonder, if I could take my tonic herbs the same way -rolled in the molasses. ..:) Molasses is also something I try to take daily anyway as they are full of minerals.
I really think dolly needs to be tested for BLV and Johnes disease. If nothing else it would be worth googling. She looks quite thin for being an open non lactating cow... it is extremely common in dairy cows. Not just cows off dairies either, cows that have been raised from generations of homestead cows can still be carrying it.
Is your farm going to be in the path of the total solar eclipse? I wondered if any home schoolers are going to video how the animals react when the earth goes dark during the eclipse. I can remember my grandmother talking about during the sun and even moon eclipse, folks not being aware of all the facts, many would think the world was coming to an end. She said the animals would lay down and not make a move. What a great project. Thought about your precious goats, they are so smart.
Now is the time to get that scythe out and cut the weeds in the pasture that the goats and cow did not eat. set the weeds back and give the grass more sun.
Its kind of funny how people sometimes focus on a persons outward appearance. Well i may just jump on that train .. _omg what beautiful girls i love the beautiful dress with the cowboy boots and omg those beautiful leggings_. Bri you look amazing. So beautiful have you lost weight you look amazing. Art is a lucky man . Art i love my farmer jeans too loose cool and abrasions resistant . Please don't take my comment as cuvitious. Just paying compliments where compliments are due 🤗
these are dairy breed animals and as such have a different body type. Dairy animals dont carry as much weight. try looking up dairy cows and goats online and you will see what i mean
Beautiful misty day! Love how everybody joins in with you to do the chores! God Bless all of you
I love that you let the girls wear whatever they feel like whether it's a Sunday dress or party shoes!! You go girls !
Oh how I love to see people caring for their animals with gratitude. I know you have had a lot going on, but I have missed seeing this kind of video and it lightened my heart a little from all that is going on elsewhere. Thanks for sharing.
You're such an amazing family. I can't begin to tell you how much joy you bring to my life. 💞
Absolutely love the children being involved! Bri you are looking so beautiful and in great shape! If only I could make myself be outside more, ughhhh. Waiting for cooler weather 😁 Love watching all the tenderness & kindness with the critters ❤️Take care and thank you for the update.

What a great idea with the goat Dewormer
This video makes farming look fun. ~Smile!
I love your land! How many acres do you guys have?
I never thought of making them into a little treat. We use an herbal dewormer, so I may have to try this!
Your children sure do live up to their names!
Can't wait to hear from you tomorrow after your week's break from vlogging--hope all is well.

What a wonderful way to grow up! Ugh! My puppy has just found paper to rip as i type, lol! Are ya'll planning on rebreeding Dolly?
my 2 year old just pointed and said, "look at dolly's butt!" lol

May I ask what you put in your fly spray for Dolly? Looks like it works well.
Can you please make a video about preparing goats milk from start to finish please? I'm looking to own some goats for milk and have no idea about preparing the milk.
How many herb balls do you give the goats?
Maybe I missed a video, but have you decided how to proceed with Dolly?
when are you guys selling off some of the goats? They must be worth a pretty penny now :D (since they are raised with so much care)
re: molasses balls, I thought you were baking. Then I thought, why is she putting them in the egg carton? Then, I thought Art is baking.....so I'm really glad you explained !
and I'm so glad Dolly has friends in the goats. :)
Please share the "fly spray" recipe
So what is the plan for Dolly? Bull, AI, sale barn?
I wonder, if I could take my tonic herbs the same way -rolled in the molasses. ..:) Molasses is also something I try to take daily anyway as they are full of minerals.
Love it!!!
Will you be breeding the goats and dolly again? Are the pullets laying?
Is molly in calf.?
Precious!
Good family God bless u
Bri, does your de-wormer work on cats/dogs?
Beautiful family and place, so close to nature, where is this place? Shalom from India.
So no calf ??
Whats the breeding plan? is there a reason why you are waiting

Joyful is always in a dress code,,
Now is the time to get that scythe out and cut the weeds in the pasture that the goats and cow did not eat. set the weeds back and give the grass more sun.
