I remember someone in one of the previous video commented how he uses same gadgets in each videos and now he is coming up with whole arsenal of new videos!
5:32 I actually used this exact product on my camping trip a couple months ago. Lemme tell you, those are amazing! They have a nice feel and grip, and are super lightweight. I accidentally lost one in the very bottom of my hiking bag (meaning all my heavy gear was on top of it) and it didn't break! They also fit in just about every pocket and are super easy to clean. Highly recommend for camping!
I used to watch him when I was 11 through this account(mother's) I opened this account after 4 years and im glad he's still posting. Like Dave used to be a big part of my pandemic childhood. I was obsessed with him
Dave your videos are great there entertaining and help me calm down when I'm annoyed or when I'm struggling to sleep I've been watching you since the flaming pumpkin video
I have those sporks from that brand. They're cheap and not in a good way. There are other poly-plastic ones that are better. Use a real knife instead of the weak, "knife" edge. They are NOT as heat reistiant as it's stated. Don't put them in dish washer that will make the more prone to breaking when used.
I've had a couple of plastic sporks, gave up on them when one broke halfway through eating a salad at work. I now have a stainless steel one, and it's lasted me nearly a decade.
That knife/spoon/fork set would be illegal to carry around in Norway. I checked the rules cause I wanted a knife to make some food on the go and not allways buy ready meal when I was about...but no....so I ended up with a plastic camping knife that hardly cuts a roll. Even a pocket knife is not legal to carry in Norway.
@@errorbirdesther Its not illegal to carry when you’re camping, hunting or working or otherwise in situations where carrying a knife would be logical or necessary. But it is illegal to carry in public, unless you’re carrying it in a work-related situation
The hollow water heater/burner is a very old design, made popular more recently. My old Dad had an ancient one when he was in the middle east in 1948, and always called it a Bengazi Burner
The Kelly Kettle/ Gillie Kettle is a classic, deff not a 'Gadget', boils water fast with minimum fuel, will burn twigs pine cones, no lugging a propane stove unless you really want to.
I had one of those solar cigarette lighters back in the 80's. Do not watch it, you can burn your eyes. It did work even when moving 60 miles an hour. We have all sorts of gadgets for camping, because well I live in a hurricane prone area and you never know when the electricity will be out for extended periods of time. It's nice to have something that can be used without power.
Interesting campfire gadgets. @kelly kettle: I wonder, if you can put one of the gadgets inside kelly kettles inner tube and save space. @foldable camping fork+spoon+knife+opener tool: it works great and saves space inside my Ever Day Carry bag (I'm using it on the train)!
It’s been…. A few years since I’ve first watched these types of videos from your channel, I would just like to say that you make great content and keep up the good work! *sipppp* Time for my daily dose of nostalgia
Honestly, that plug for draining the water only adds a weak point to that chopping board, the thing holds too little water to need a plug, which is a thing you need for large containers you can't tip over
I want to know where you got the clip that you using to hold is a handle the pot and that you're making your beans in I have been looking for that for ages.
The yellow radio I've got is a different, being in the United States and all. It doesn't have the full date nor it does keep stations, but having FM, AM, WX (weather), and ShortWave, and it uses a Type-C port and not a Micro-SD port, it works for me.
Hey Dave this is a nice video but what if you re incarnate your RUclips profile picture! Or do more pumpkin videos near Halloween because it’s just august but if you do it sooner that will pretty cool huh?
I'd advise against using that multitool. It tries to be too many things at once. Better use a normal multitool and a normal axe. Also, always have a knife attached to your body in case something happens to your backpack, but that's besides the point.
What's your favorite thing about camping?
Starting fires 🔥
me personally i love climbing trees
Going home again.

How do you keep from injuring your mouth on a fork that has a serrated edge?
@@resourceress7 you don't eat the fork??? You eat off the fork..???
You can just pull the food of the spork when you eat it...

Oh my 😂😂😂
😂

maybe next time 😅
me too! LOL
Some handy items, I particularly liked the cutlery even for in the car for day trips, but I’m not sure many would pack a wash bowl in a backpack.

It's good that knives are banned Norway or else speed might have lost all his hair from head.
Why are knifes illegal in Norway

Idl camping but this stuff is awesome! Kind of just wanna have some of those things hanging around in the trunk just in case
Addicted to your channel! I have an emergency weather radio📻 Very useful during an extended power outage. Sanity Saver!
These are really cool for camping. I could use the small light bulbs for my dock.

It's 1 am i, haven't slept for 23 hour's.
Will probably stay up for another 5 hours.
Even being asleep makes people annoyed. 😑😥
Some of them are definitely useful. I'd love to find a left handed spork.

Whys it so good to watch this bc of his voice
The radio with the crank that you're talking about does have some problems after a year it sometimes fails to continue functioning.
The sporks will handle eating hot but not cooking hot. They melt as soon as you have them near a cooking pot
All of them are cool
Hay DaveHax I love ur videos and me and my dads watch ur videos
I love DaveHax videos

If the axe was bigger and bulkier, it would be great, its size seems irrelevant even for the smallest of things
