Thank you so much for videos like these. I want to start my own small photography business, but I am so scared. I have no idea where to start or how to do it! However, videos like these give me a sense of relief. Thank you!
My process is to take a 50% deposit I complete the shoot and edit Provide the customer with a gallery and only allow them to download once the final 50% is paid This way they see the photos and feel comfortable with the final deposit Also congrats on the new mic 😁 - Kyle
Marieta Dobreva Pixieset is also a great online gallery that can be password protected, they can favorite images/add comments, download and order prints from a photo lab (you have control over the pricing)
This is so helpful! Thank you! I'm a hobby photographer but I have started a floral design business and this is definitely applicable to my business as well.
My boyfriend and I are starting a Real Estate photography business, and we'd love to make it a full time career. I really enjoy your advice about Honeybook because we know along the lines, we'd probably have to do a lot of follow up work that can take time! Thank you.
This video’s look is amazing! Are you using your 35mm lens? And what’s your lighting set up like? I would love a tutorial on how you set up for sit down videos 💓💓💓
Jessica, you should do viewer based things like critiquing our Insta, Photos or have random people edit photos you took and critique them. Lol Shameless Plug but hah make me first @TheTopTenFotograohy. Was limited to luminar before but started expanding to affinity photo (Photoshop alternative). I definitely invoice using wix software and send payment requests through Google Pay but it only works because I'm not yet booming in business so it's manageable but love your tips. I also do 25$ deposits/retainer before and remainder the day of the event.

Would not recommend PayPal as they keep the transaction fee if you need to do a client refund.
PayPal sucks
