So what did you like the about the headset? What do you consider the downsides? Would you recommend people pick one up? These are typically the questions one would answer with a review, but I didn't see too much of that. Well, considering you've decided to pay for a subscription workout app, I'm assuming you did end up liking it. haha
I could have done a downside / upside comparison against the 3500.00 Apple headset, but they are in two entirely different categories. As it stands on its own, am I happy I purchased it? Yes. Do I play games? no. For a non gamer if you see the value in an AR/VR productivity appliance then its a win. Its not for everyone obviously. As mentioned, the exercise apps alone make it worth it IMHO. Ultimately for AR im looking for a glasses solution but thats a few years down the road. If you have 500 to burn and are looking for an AR/VR solution today this is the best bang for the buck.
Excellent Overview for the NonGamer who is new to VR. Just purchased the MQ 3 (still in the box). The only thing I suggest you add is a little more detail on the Controllers (ie what buttons are you engaging to perform what function) Just Subscribed to your Channel :)
Thank you, It was difficult to include everything without making the video too long. I may release a part two that doesnt need to include unboxing and sw install.
Pronouncing meta as "mate-uh" instead of "met-uh" for the entire video made me chuckle
…ok
@@retrotechandelectronics More like "may-DUH", amirite?!? LOL! Yeah, super annoying. No one is saying "May-DUH".
