If Secret Garden and The Summit had a baby. I love it
My thoughts exactly. It's so good.
I’m right there with you! I love the energy this song brings. It’s upbeat and vibey. There’s an ethereal Spiritbox sound but in a way they haven’t shown us yet. I think that’s so cool. I love not knowing what to expect. Im seeing them in a couple weeks! Im so damn excited!!!!
Late night drive vibes
Agree with all your points! Absolutely love this track, it's such an atmospheric vibe
Hell yeah! Jelly of everyone that gets/got to hear this live
Loved this one. I love the contrast of Courtney's vocals with the fast paced drumming. The Summit, Secret Garden, Sew Me Up all come to mind, I love when they mix the soft with the heavy. I'd love to see them live!
I've been slowly withering away waiting for this thing to release since I heard it was coming. Glad it's finally here
I can't wait to hear it live in July, my hopes for their show is hiiigh!
i feel things when i listen to this. so good
This is a HUGE statement of the band's possible direction! And it's clear they will excel at it and make a sound all their own.
this song is such a freakin vibe
I agree with your points, I instantly loved the song. Right off the bat I feel Zev channeling Hybrid Theory/Meteora kind of drum sound/beat, just instantly made me think of LP. And the "breakdown"/groovedown lol, love the guitar layers, the lead, the chunk, and the clean in the back, it had me moving that's for sure.
Was looking forward to a reaction of The Void. I know it's unlikely that you pull any suggestions from comments but on the off chance, I'd like to recommend "Wide Open" by Ov Sulfur if you aren't already familiar. Recent release in the Lorna Shore/Shadow of Intent/Thy Art is Murder wheelhouse.
Ayo Rachelle, there is some new Woe, Is Me.... seems the reaction channels have no clue maybe help the boys out :)
The Spiritbox sound is good music. And I think people who jump on that ride will always be rewarded. The people who demand a specific sound from this band are not fans of this band, they're fans of a specific genre this band has no intention of sticking to. And bands that refuse to stick to a genre and keep writing great songs can blow up quicker than the bands that are afraid of playing around with their styles. Ghost is a great example of a band that blew up with a genre, and then immediately refused to stick to it and blew up even more. And then did it again on the next album, and the next, and the next.
I really love the high energy drums in this song. They really set the tone for the whole song. I don't know if it's the key the song is in or what but for some reason the song gives me "Mad At Myself" by ISSUES vibes in certain spots. Love it!
definitely blasting this in my car a couple times on my drive home from my dads tomorrow 😂 i can’t wait to see then live in May
Absolutely amazing! Nice to see Spiritbox branching out. Song reminds me of Northlane's 4D
I got to enjoy "Spiritbox" live last june as the first concert after the pandemic era with the support of Invisions and it was totally worth it ! One concert i will always remember !
So it's true .... rock stars gotta eat too.... Shows growth and maturity .
I love bands which have songs for different moods as Spiritbox has.
Beautiful and Fun track, i like it
EEEEEE new Spiritbox and it's so good 😍
Laplante is a dream woman…..right next to Rachelle of course.
❤
I could see this fitting perfectly on eternal blue. Would actually swap Secret Garden out for this! I love Courtney's vocals here and the instrumentals compliment them very well. Very excited to see them in a few months and curious as to what tracks they'll play!
Y e s !
Northlane node vibes
Going to see them for the first time with bring me the horizon on the 1st on june can't wait :D
Courtney is a goddess 😭❤️
This song will be underappreciated because the expectation of some fans who like their heavier songs. But my god this is a gem. Its been stuck in my head since i heard it live
Why is everyone pointing their fingers on the fixation that people do not like it because it's not heavy?!
For me it has zero to do with the heavyness. More with the "no highlights", few progression, just...feeling bland. And i do not dig that. But it doesn't mean they have to put out bangers only. It just doesn't fit my taste.
And again, nothing to do with the heavies. So make this your own personal war against the diehard metalheads. There are other reasons to dislike a song.
@@nissyenarts I wasn't trying to debate it but it's just a common thing within the genre with many bands.
I distracted with Your beautiful eyes😂❤
I liked the song, it was floaty and the breakbeat drums carry the songs rhythm. I just wish that they cut the drums towards the end and let courtney sing with just the melody then come back in, just my opinion. The production was really good though. Maybe i'll like it more with a few more listens. I really can't wait till i see them live for the first time, i've been watching videos of their performances and it seems like there really perfecting them. Their whole set looked really cool and sounded good mix wise.
This track is amazing!! Honestly it feels like the Future! Like your in the year 3099 and your at a concert.
Sounds a lot like most of Eternal Blue and Rotoscope to me. Simpler, more typical metalcore with pop elements. Very mainstream sound, I'd say. I miss their original style. The Mara Effect, The Beauty of Suffering, Trust Fall...those are their best songs.
Nothing I'll revisit tbh
You should check out the new Better Lovers band... don't know if you're into Every Time I Die or Dillinger, but if not that's a journey to go on sometime
Didn’t like this one as much but still sounds like Spiritbox nonetheless!
Just felt like the song didn't really evolve enough to keep it interesting. I found it an okay song but nothing more, which I guess falls below my average rating for metal songs.
Same here. I wouldn’t listen to it again.
Absolutely! This is a grower. the fingerpicking on the guitar seems blistering. Def in their atmosphere zone. It feels good. Video is absolute trash though. That hasn't grown on me a' tall!
Más parecido a tesseract , skyharbor
As far as I know.. Josh didn’t participate in the recording of this album
Your commentary now from the beginning of your channel, has only gotten mature and professional. The honest feedback you share is only had by few other tubers on your level of clarity.
thank you so much! that really means a lot to me 💙
🤷♂ they have better songs, will keep listening to them
How the actual fuck have none of y’all music reactors reacted to Woe is Me’s new song yet?
First off I really used to think you were a decent person. Now that I know you’ve seen them three times I kinda hate you. That aside, I loved your reaction and I loved this song. It’s getting some pretty strong hate from other reactors who want a heavy breakdown. I respect their opinions but I love how they did the breakdown in this one with the ambience.
damn, thought this comment was about to attack my character for a moment and I was like what the heck did I do haha
Solid song, but in my opinion it is not worthy of being a "single" just too generic and forgettable great filler track on an album.
Yeah its a decent album song, but definitely not single material by their standards
It’s an okay song but I won’t listen to it again.
