haha yep! but surprisingly long airtime! i felt at times it stayed up longer than skyscale at times , if you timed the jumps correctly. its pretty fun!
@@ThyWeepingWillow How many jumps can it do? Or is it like birb where you can jump again as soon as the bar is filled (or a bit earlier)? Also, did you get the max level mastery? Did it affect birb flap endurance regeneration tricks in any way?
@@petrikillos You have 3 stacks of stamina (use 1 stack per Use) and regens over time, so You can kinda keep jumping if You don't consume all Your stacks

The double jump looks really cool. I am so happy, I loved the warclaw as a mount and to see it get so much love has got me really excited for next tuesday :)
I'd been curious what the warclaw's new masteries would look like in action! This was a really fun little showcase... Even using the chain pull on a tree, maybe from a new map event? Either way I'm definitely psyched to take these critters for a spin!

Oooh I never got the impression warclaws were gonna be jumping and staying up in the air for so long from the descriptions we got from Arenanet. This might be a faster option than setting up Griffon height or dashing with the Skyscale (or maybe not, IDK!). I definitely wanna experiment now. Gorgeous video as always, by the way!
Thank youi🧡 Tbf, griffon is still the faster option going horizontal(setting up griffon height only takes a few seconds) but warclaw's airtime is really good. It is a combo of being able to go upwards and forward, so for more upwards scenarios it may just do better., and will outdo skyscale on *some* parts due to its longer airtime. Its def a lot of fun to hop around with
I haven't unlocked the last warclaw mastery yet so idk but I can tell you this much, the griffon gets slight buff as the 20% boost applies to all mounts
This is freaking awesome, but poor bunny dude xDD The springer is just deep in the hole, they have to make it climb vertically or something Also, what a gorgeous map and gorgeous song and gorgeous cat and gorgeous cinematic, what a hype train
the taller more longer jumps seem almost rubbery where the ones leaning forward seem more realistic (as if the warclaw is really sinking in its claws to make that double jump)
omg this looks really cute! and i love that it can like maneuver in air? i mean jackle can as well (well all mounts can actually maneuver in air to some extent cuz the controls are so good lol) but maybe this is a little easier to maneuver, maybe i just suck nut i remembered really struggling with sone of the sandportal puzzles in pof maps. ANYWAY this looks amazing, i cant wait to run around on my big kittyyyyyyyy its like every catlovers dream XD edit:omg earlier was watching without sound, but the music!!! it's so good! at the end it sounded like the beginning of fear not this night? can't wait for the full soundtrack!
This is really kewl. You could switch to warclaw mid flight if you messed up and maybe keep a bit of the momentum and possibly gain height, then return back to zooming.

Honestly, how do you get such good transitions?!! It's like you background swap underneath the jumping animation. Regardless, you deserve to be on ANet's PR for how well your stuff is made, including this-!
I wonder if there'll be pieces you can place in guild halls or homesteads that require the Warclaw skill to open, could make for some cool little race tracks and whatnot. It's nice to have yet another interesting method of traversal in GW since Warclaw had no use outside of WvW.
ANet should do a warclaw standstill animation where the warclaw plays with a glass cup and tries to slap it while the Commander's like: 'No. No! NO!" - and breaks it anyways not giving a sh!t. That would be epic
Dang, Willow! You got to do this a SECOND time?! And nice, that Warclaw can move! (I'm assuming you didn't speed-up any footage). Looks like the "slow warclaw in PvE" thing has been solved :D That Air Jump looks wicked fun to play with!

What a waste. What's needed is a Mount to climb steep mountains or cliffs fast. To dragon up, the glide, then griffin easier.

im really looking forward to it aswell, I did already have a lot of fun jumping around on Warclaw! and the maps are beautiful!

I personally love the animation of the dashes more aswell, they are less floaty. its why i used it a bit more in this vid too
