- In today's video I show you my process for drawing the scales on Captain America's suit. I struggled with it at first but kept at it until I got comfortable with the pattern.
I hope that this video helps you to realize that you may have to draw things over and over at times but usually it will get easier as you figure out the design.

Awesome cap Mr. Marzullo ! The classic a the Best. 🖒🖒🖒🖒
That's alot of work, most people dont appreciate the time it takes to finish most pieces. Great work bro! 🔥🔥
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Rob, I've noticed that. Walking away and then attacking the details after helps fix up your rendering. Thank you for confirming.
I had the same issue putting tattoo's on a piece I worked on.. Awesome piece and detail on this Cap tho!!!
PS. The A must be bigger .
I like to draw comics and this video is really helpful
Yeah this was a helpful video, I definitely liked it
Amazing video!
Ugh those scales…time to put on a fresh pot of coffee and have a snack and get focused. 😅 good job though! I recently drew a spidey piece (digitally) and I had to keep re-drawing the webbing on his costume to get it to follow the contours of the anatomy correctly lol
Really nice video and love hearing you talk through the process. I saw you lay one line for a guide, but what I've seen people do is lay down a crisscross guideline down to set the pattern for the scales.
