I would watch this movie even though I've seen this review. I love the mermaid! The love story is spellbinding and timeless. I would never have guessed the ending at all! Good job!
The movie is amazing, the mermaid 🧜♀️ is flawlessly gorgeous, and protected the man she loved, I think the mermaid doesn't deserve to be blamed for something she didn't do, however the demand turned out to be the bad guy the whole time. Awesome movie, I enjoyed watching it.

I'd love to have the book version of it; with a good fourth of the tome being, sensibly placed, throughout, color stills from the film! Finally, your overview narrative was superb! Please find a cannibal supernatural movie with this premise. A group of friends go camping, a random bushman approaches them and offers to make them burgers for dinner and they agree. Turns out is was human meat and he did it so the monster of the forest they are in will hunt them instead of him and hes been doing this for decades since it hunts cannibals and you are cursed to stay in the forest if you eat human flesh. And if you find the name plz let it be known I've been hunting for it for years!!!
Good movie with a nice plot twist. Didn't think the Governor was the Demon that ate his wife honestly, I thought it was the Lieutenant. The warden was a nasty piece of garbage too.
Thr warden, governor, and familu should have all been slaughtered by chen, there is no 'familu honer' when they manipulated him. He should freed the mermaid and flee to her home
The mermaid hospital reminds me of a mission in my school vr game called a ocean titan where you play as a heavily ocean combat goalius ready to go to the ocean ready to engage in the depths of the ocean

This is a better adaptation of The Little Mermaid than the Disney version.
