I love the music, but the stage itself is mostly copied sprites from Metal Slug 1's fourth and fifth mission. It repeats previous concepts but fails to improve on them, feeling like a cheap "free-trial" version of the real things in the first game. Such wasted potential for what could have been a great game.
Taller than Charizard Metal Slug 4 has the most bugs, lag and glitches. It has terrible enemy placement and mostly every sprite from past Metal Slugs are reused but the soundtracks, Trevor and Nadia are obvious easy remakes of Tarma and Eri, Bosses are easy to distinguish of what boss it was copied off of, and not to mention how ridicoulously hard it is, i mean i like hard metal slug challenges, but MS4 overdoes it. MS4 isn’t a terrible game but its not great either. Just decent at best, i prefer MS5 over it honestly.

Mission 2 boss can be ridiculously hard on your first run. But if you know the drill it just becomes a button mashing chore.
