Edit 3: IT’S UP! “Boom Boom Castle” (PBN-D46-R0H) Good luck, it’s pretty hard. And you know, if simple played it, it would be pretty cool I guess...
He is 10, but has been 10 for over 10,000 years old, cursed by a warlock to never age - burdened by memories and regrets not known to any mortal, but always seen as a mere child. Both the level and his username are a cry into the timeless void that surrounds him.
I don’t know much about Japanese slang (specifically I’m not sure what “ズル” means but it’s used in the Japanese term for “playing hooky”), but I think the required dev path level’s name translates to something like “Find the lazy design- Lazy level speedrun.”
The level creator acknowledging that their bad level is bad does not make the bad level any less bad. In fact, some would say that makes it worse, because the designer knew it was bad, but couldn't be bothered to fix it.
@@jruler93 I think the level was made either ironically or the challenge was to speedrun the level while looking out for the skips to go faster on your next runs. Honestly fun level.
@@jruler93 Actually, that sort of changes the level for me. Knowing that the shortcuts were meant to be found makes it a puzzle/speedrun hybrid, which is interesting. It makes me wonder about the shortcuts Simple missed and where the other pathways lead.

I couldn't believe he missed it either. Manages to find complicated bomb respawn and breakable blocks but misses hole in roof right where copter suit is. 🤣
That last level, as bad as it could be, was so inspiring though. One could do a whole new series of levels that put cheese as the required route to beat the level, with an alternative route like a really hard kaizo course or whatever challenge you want to bring as a creator that is optional but rewards you with a subtle hint to find the cheese. So you reward those with game knowledge, game mechanics, or simply game awareness. It could be called the Rat Maze series and all! I don't know if putting cheese as an intended mechanic would take away the satisfaction of finding it or just be a puzzle with extra steps, but I still think that the concept could hold up if the creator knows what he/she is doing and disguises the level well enough nonetheless. How I wish I could play the game... damn.

@@theradman9478 I don't really have an opinion on him because I have not played the first Paper Mario. I'll just say good for him that he is the first partner in the series.
Note to any aspiring speedrun level devs in the future: If there are multiple intended paths through your level, make a description that says so. That way when an apparently hidden path is discovered by your players, they won't think it's a dev path, and will instead think it's a proper player shortcut. Unless if it's obviously a dev path not meant to be found. Also, maybe don't make it unintuitive. Multiple paths without shenanigans like hiding them are always going to be better in levels wherein you HAVE to go fast, since players won't always be as observant as Simple was here.

saw 35 mins but these levels were so fun to watch you play that i was surprised when the video ended, felt like 10 minutes lol
0:32 Thanks for the bars, SimpleFlips.
@@theradman9478 I don't really have an opinion on him because I have not played the first Paper Mario. I'll just say good for him that he is the first partner in the series.
Moral of the story, never underestimate someone named I AM TEN in all caps.
After having to resort to DGR for my Mario Maker fix the last couple days, it is SO nice to hear someone say “JEEZ LOU-FUCKING-UISE, DUDE!”!
the boo on that last level is mad undeserved but it rly comes down to u couldnt read the title. if u could its a mad sick level concept
Had a poo poo day at work today, but knowing it was Sunday Uncleared Day made it all better. Love this series
I’m glad simple overthinks things it’s what makes his videos so good
The "Nivel 99% impossible" reminded me of the new Rayman titles. Very thoughtful level.
WHAT!?! The legendARY "I" SPIN?! Simple and Marc Rutzou
The saying is 'right off the bat'. Thanks for the content.
I can't begin to imagine how there could be "balance issues" in Tetris, much less how you would try to address them
Note to any aspiring speedrun level devs in the future: If there are multiple intended paths through your level, make a description that says so.
Best uncleared levels video so far! Great levels, interesting cheese ideas, insightful Tetris segment; great work SimpleFlips!
I lost my shit when Simple killed Lemmy under the Boo Boss in the Kaizo level. God damn, that was fucking hilarious.
i like simples style of tetris
"You might call that a misimput, I call that a T-Spin setup
I've heard this before. There are no misdrops, only t spin setups. Idk who said it, maybe it was Simple, but I think he was quoting somebody else.
12:43 is the Mario Maker knockoff of Scuttlebug raising
At 29:00. You can see the acorn suit. You could have grabbed the propeller, then came back and twirled up to it. That level had so much cheese in it.
Edit: Nvm you noticed
"simpleflips laughing spanish guy" impression is best impression
