2017 Rescued Peregrine

One of our 4 young peregrines has not been getting his share of the food. Because of this, he was in a weakened state and had a mishap. A guest found this guy swimming in our water with blood on one wing. The wound seems superficial but upon inspection, we determined that he was sadly undernourished. We gave him a few hours to rest and distress and allowed him some much needed protein. Sadly, he was still not able to fly away so he has made a trip to the Atlantic Wildlife Institute for further analysis.
