I'm not going to lie, the part where Nigel and the group are sneaking past the sleeping Mei Longs was creepy and intense. The tension gets higher when they played creepy ominous music in it, yet it gets more unsettling when Nigel pokes one with a stick. When I was a kid watching that scene, I imagine them actually waking up and attacking Nigel. By the way, I like the fact they shot episode 3 at New Zealand's redwoods. It looks very prehistoric like which is perfect for dinosaurs to be in it.
2:50 To be fair, at this point the giant proceratosaurids like Yutyrannus hadn't been described, so even if he did his research he still would have no idea about the biggest predators of the Jehol Biota.
Oh how I missed these, so....any chance of other BBC shows like WWD or even fictional shows like Primeval getting reviewed?.....I really like hearing your voice....British accents are just the best for narration.
I wonder if Nigel brings back the Caudipteryx, Psittacosaurus and Yutyrannus instead of the herd of Borealosaurus, then there will be less pressure for Bob. Plus, the Mass Break Out won't happen.
1. If I want dinosaur powers, what is the best way to get them, and what species will grant me what abilities? 2. If you were to pitch Season 2 of Prehistoric Park, what would your ideas be? 2.5. Same for Primeval season 6/7. 3. If you were to build a Voltron style robot using prehistoric animals, which ones would you use and why? (what serves as the torso, limbs, head, etc. )
Raptor for speed and agility. Season 2 I'd be interested in seeing Edmontosaurus, Glyptodon, any Stegosaurae, and imo a very interesting yet stupid and impossible one would be Dunkleosteus. Primeval I'd have a season where obviously several things are explained. A reveal that Nick Cutter was a clone when he died and there's still thebreal one alive and figuring out what happened to Claudia (cause I don't remember if they explained what was changed). And for voltron a leg. Because I feel that's the safest place and I get to kick creatures in the nads
Sumair Ahmer I know that is a theory but the problem is that that was never confirmed it's just a fan theory and with the massive time problem I have started to find the theory unlikely.
another caveat worthy-of-note is that the titanosauriforms depicted're habitually positioning their necks horizontally, as per the osteological-neutral pose. this was a hotly-contested field contemporaneously, but we now know virtually all derived sauropodomorphs held their necks at an elevated-angle.
4:41 "these two meter long monsters couldn't be further from reality". I somewhat object to that conclusion. It COULD be the same animal, just a different expression of their species' genetics. Sort of like how humans occasionally grow up to 7 feet tall.

I was just so amazed as a kid to see really feathered dinosaurs, and not just fluff or quills

It's great to see this review back up on RUclips! #WTFU
That intro was excellent.

Yo it will be crazy if you reply to this comment after 3 years
9:31 One of my favourite bits when rewatching as a kid was waiting for that guy to notice the titanosaur and run lol

KSound Kaiju
Yeah if a sauropod stomps a small dinosaurs wing that should like never freaking heal

Really with the break out, the tyrannosaurs are the most dangerous

8:16 The 1920's called: They want their reconstruction back
Actually an unnamed titanosaur has been found in the Joufatang formation so the titanosaurs on the show are probably those.
Bennett Fender the ones in the show are borealosaurus.
Sumair Ahmer I know that is a theory but the problem is that that was never confirmed it's just a fan theory and with the massive time problem I have started to find the theory unlikely.
Bennett Fender officially
Bennett Fender though I personally believe that these were the unnamed sauropods from the same formation as microraptor.
This is my favorite episode.
This is a change in cast of the episode for accuracy inciviosaurus is psittacosaurus and mei long is dilong.
Bennett Fender what?
ztlabraptor211 the cast wasn't in the right time.
3:43
I always wondered about that 😂
8:56
That had me on the floor 😂

The pterosaur is Eosipterus and the sauropod is Dongbeititan
I originally thought that the titanosaurs were just the titanosaurusus.
Henry Smith me too
i still wonder what happened to the other microraptors - where they left behind? Where they saved?
I love the intro you made to this.
As a fellow Microraptor, I know in prehistoric park they botched it pretty badly
why wasnt there a donald trump joke when you say prehistoric china
the mei long had feathers just very smooth feathers look at the animal book of the series
The pterosaurs are stated to dsunjapterus, i believe
Eric Xu no it was some eosipterus.
You're right, they are, they are.
The mei long actually had a very small, and still innacurate, feathers.
Wait how do we know what color microraptor is?
It's more than I can explain, but google _microraptor color_ and there are explanations out there.
Tarponpet Secord we have found color pigments and many feathered dinosaurs color has been found out thanks to these pigments.

Praetorian Rex yeah but scaling the real life Mei long to the Prehistoric Park ones would mean a 12ft human...
This was the episode I watched the most
9:28 guy in background.
Isn't nigle Marvin dead because he got eaten by gigantasaurs in primeval
Wrong universe
@@mame9562 oh okay
Dinosaurs in this episode are mei long mircoraptor insivasaurs titanasaurs lived in Asia titanosaurs unknown to me.
That intro 😂
what if Nigel Marven just sucked at geography and went to the wrong formation
OK
