    We discovered reamers years ago we had to Re drill 3/8 holes to 5/8 through steel. A reamer is a really nice way to upsize a hole in metal

      We use a reamer to cut for new bushes in old spindles. If you can get a set there worth it.

    Can you tell me if you can get hardware kits for the so cal hidden disc set? I got a set up from a swap meet and yes most of the hardware is missing. Also noticed that your back plates are polished but not the drums. Any reason for this. I’ve also got a set of Buick front brakes for the future. My eldest grandson has his eyes on them. Very cool and enjoyable content. Cheers from England. Tim.

      Hey Tim, from my understanding you cannot buy support parts separately however I might have a few solutions. Feel free to send me an email bnunez@calirod.com and I can do my best to help!

    What frame are you using

    • @calirod
      @calirod  Год назад

      from my knowledge its an old SoCal frame, we did not buy it new... the chassis seemed to be sitting for sometime along with many of the parts.

    WHAT no grease on those front bearings????

    • @calirod
      @calirod  Год назад +3

      Not yet! Mock up only for now then the entire thing comes apart, painted then grease, fluids etc etc on the final assembly 😊

    Make sure you always grease your bearings even on a mockup.

    This is an excellent build and I'm enjoying following it, but her baby talking is beyond irritating. My wife even thought it was excessive and she has saintly patience.

      Yup, it’s tough for some people to look past certain aspects someone’s personality. However I love it, it comes with her being a teacher and not taking life too seriously 👌🏽
