I could answer some of your questions: A1: Theres customization features which includes themes, font change, and aod display while phone is turned off after. A2: In dialer and messages theres a few chinese characters but some of them aren't even necessary. A3: You can open lockscreen with a finger print button, and a face unlock with mask included too which is cool and dont worry your finger print can be even placed multiple times. A4: For daily driver, this phone can last up to a day without gaming using 60hz. And for gaming I tried genshin impact with highest settings and motion blur extreme with average of 58 fps but it can stabilize to 60 this can last up to 2 hours and 21 minutes of straight gaming to 100% to 0%. A5: Cons with this phone that they've planned to discontinue giving updates on legion y70 and y90. A5: My another recommendations is nubia Z50 with and 8 gen 2 processor the reason of it its good because of its screen to body ratio and the 8 gen 2 efficiency. On gaming with genshin impact its always 60 fps without drops even on sumeru, the 8 gen 2 consumes less power than the 8+ gen 1 with little much performance improvement. It still supports updates and no issues with it.

same I'm not sure if I went into fastboot mode, when I restart pressing power and - buttom and menu that only let me choses START, RESTART BOTOLOADER, RECOVERY MODE and POWER OFF

Miui 14 Y70 version custom rom is overall the best gsi roms, ported camera, bypass charging, every single y70 feature is ported to miui 14 rom. It's paid but a lifetime purchase the rom dev is also giving updates on it
