It's September 2nd 2023. I saw Yanni in 2018, for his 25th anniversary of "Live at the Acropolis " he played for 3 hours! Amazing night!
I think there are certain songs in life that you find special and this is the one for me. I listen to it on the 26th of august every year, as it’s my birthday and it really feel like such a significant song for me. Like an introduction to the fall season, and the closure of the summer whilst signifying another year I’ve been alive. This song gives me so much, it’s so special.
THE ONLY reason for me to be a musician, was this live 25 years ago ! Thank you YANNI for changing my whole life..You're an angel.

Karen Briggs is one of the best members of the Yanni Orchestra. Yanni had a great time in his music career thanks to her tireless support. Nobody could replace her!
Certainly the most notable concert from Yanni in my opinion. This was a good year in my life too. Being Greek and playing at the Acropolis while your parents and partner are in the audience is no doubt the single most important show. Never to be recreated

Every end of August I play this song and remember the story you told us in your concert in Toronto, Canada about how you composed this piece back in your native Greece at the end of August.
