It's September 2nd 2023. I saw Yanni in 2018, for his 25th anniversary of "Live at the Acropolis " he played for 3 hours! Amazing night!
THE ONLY reason for me to be a musician, was this live 25 years ago ! Thank you YANNI for changing my whole life..You're an angel.

I think there are certain songs in life that you find special and this is the one for me. I listen to it on the 26th of august every year, as it’s my birthday and it really feel like such a significant song for me. Like an introduction to the fall season, and the closure of the summer whilst signifying another year I’ve been alive. This song gives me so much, it’s so special.

Certainly the most notable concert from Yanni in my opinion. This was a good year in my life too. Being Greek and playing at the Acropolis while your parents and partner are in the audience is no doubt the single most important show. Never to be recreated

Yanni's music always "fits the position"!! The end of August is one of his eternal songs, it was composed in avery special moment of Yanni, in Kalamata where he was born. Very warm and peaceful song.
The more number of times I listen to it the more deep I dive into it. Every stroke is a masters stroke. I recently read the biography and learnt about the tremendous struggle to put the show. I see it in his eyes while bowing down to the audience.
