11:36, This was the problem with our offense at that time. Losing Ted Marchibroda was HUGE! and his replacements tried to put their stamp on things. And there stamp screwed things up. We call them out! I was a kid, but I battled to get Jim Kelly back to the no-huddle and calling the plays. The press in Buffalo especially sports talk radio did too. We won the battle and went back to a couple more Super Bowls too. We should have won Super Bowl 25 & 28. However, in 2023, Josh and the Bills are about to win Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas🎲💯Watch👀💯

Yeah, there was never a doubt about Thurman Thomas's thoughts and feelings. In general, I liked listening to Thomas' opinions; him and Darryl Talley (nothing against Bruce Smith, Biscuit Bennett, Andre Reed, or Kelly, I just enjoyed the way Thomas and Talley went about their business).

I have to say, switching out your quarterback every other play is one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever heard of. Why would that work?

Dan Reeves was a player and then a coach for Tom Landry in Dallas, and back in 1971 Landry rotated Roger Staubach & Craig Morton every other play for 7 games (Cowboys were 4-3, and the strategy was scrapped to play Staubach exclusively; Dallas later won the Super Bowl). As a head coach, Reeves used the Landry system on offense, which is why Reeves teams ran a lot of gadget plays and the belief in winning games in the last minute (I'm not bashing the system, but Mike Shanahan's style of going for the jugular from the opening snap was a better fit for the Broncos).
