Michael, First Happy New Year! The smart objects and certificate instruction was super, I wish you could do a little more in-depth video on that. I thought that was awesome! I always learn so much from your videos and being somewhat new to Photoshop it is always a huge learning curve!

Could you make a video to show how you create a certificate of authenticity from start to finish? Thank you!

Hello Cosmin, it wouldn't be too interesting I think. The hardest part was coming up with a layout and selecting a font ;-) then the essential part is the use of the Smart Objects. Add to that some texts in different size and you have it.

@@mibreit-photo I think it would be a great idea, especially for those of us that are not to familiar with using photoshop. I really like the layout and look of your certificate template

I have artist proof prints and a printers proof print. Which is more valuable?

    good work,
Do you use a windows computer?
Can you make a video explaining how you calibrate your monitor?
    thanks

I want to do it for some time now. Till then the short version: I use I1 Display Pro Calibration device and software, which makes it really easy.

Hi Michael. How do you determine which of your images will be limited editions? Danke!

Hello William, since this is my first limited edition, I selected simply some of my all time favorite images, which fit a common theme and made sure that I didn't have them in any other shop yet. Because I also sell some of my photos via Redbubble, I had to be carefull with the selection. With those 20 images I will just see how it goes, check what sells as LE and then make a plan for future LE images. I'd call this first LE an experiment ;-)

Do you sign your full bleed photos?

Whats a full "bleed" Photo? I usually sign at the back.

@@mibreit-photo photos that have no border. They are printed edge to edge. If signing the back that shouldn’t be a problem 👍🏻

Michael, thanks for your very useful tutorials, especially for the last series about the preparation of the files for print, soft proofing, etc. Sorry for a nasty question, but are you really happy with the proof prints?
The comparison of the monitor display and printed photo (2:24 min of the video) shows the significant differences between these two pictures: the hard copy is much darker, the magenta color of the sky is much stronger, the yellow part in the right-middle part of the screen changes in more orange ... For many years I am trying to get similar tones on the screen and monitor (calibrated) and, it is a painful story, very rarely I am successful. Can you accept these changes visible in your video, or, maybe they are apparent and in the reality magenta sky is not so aggressive on the print. All the best in New Year and I am waiting for your next tutorials

Hi, you are right it's darker - but only a touch and on the video it appears much darker. Two reasons: when I compare it I usually hold it a bit closer to the light than in the video. Also I added a Vignette to the video, so when I hold it above the Monitor it's a bit darkened. But it is a continuing process of improvement and experimenting. PS: colors are correct, this only looks different because of brightness
