Jack was fighting a young George Foreman. Jack's toughness is on full display here against a "legend" in heavyweight boxing, George Foreman. A 1970 George Foreman at that. Jack, in so many ways, reminded me of another heavyweight fighter from the late 30's and 40's, that was Big Abe Simon. Like Jack, a big 240+pounds, who stood 6'4", while Jack is 6'6" tall and about the same eight. After examing a couple of Simon's fights, Jack's style and Abe's were similar. Big tough, robust men that knocked out many fighters. That ducked no one and both fought some of the great ever fighters. Fighters like these two, would pack the house with interested fans. Promoters loved them because of their crowd-drawing qualities, and their exciting fight styles. Fighters like these two are no longer around, and that is a shame, because they were real fighters that pleased the crowds!
Love it. Cheers
My god, George Foreman can beat a Kryptonian.
Wow Foreman knocked out Non!!!
But they had to turn the red lights on over the ring 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Big Non from Krypton
I never realized he was a fighter-Jack didn't have the best record i think he had 22 losses but he did have 17 knockouts. One movie i really liked him in was Hero and the Terror with Chuck Norris-Jack plays a good vilian-he has a scary look and he is so big!
If you haven't already, check him also out in Superman and especially Superman 2, where his role is larger and March or die.
Just watched it now. The creepy part was his hidey hole with his bodies/toys 🤯
Jack was a tough SOB. The only 3 who put down Jack was Foreman, Kong and Superman
Ron Lyle i think
I remember Giant Jack being stopped by the much derided Jack Bodell.
Anyone recall O'Halloran's Moose Malloy opposite Mitchum in Farewell My Lovely?
Yep....he kept asking Mitchum if he'd found Velma.......O'Halloran lost to Bodell????.....would've loved a Quarry-O'Halloran fight
Jack was a real GIANT diagnosed with acromegaly he was over 6 foot 6 and a muscular 240 .He was a fringe contender journeyman type . Jack gave a young Foreman rounds but George was in another league .Jack was also stablemates with Foreman and Liston so he was familiar with his power.
Jack went the full distance with Ken Norton who was at his peak at the time (right before his fights against Ali and Foreman).
The red lights we're on over the ring 🥊😂 😂 LMFAO
Foreman was so powerful. He knocked Jack out with his head through the ring ropes with that last punch.
Never knew Jack O'Halloran boxed, at the start I thought he's going to win with all that ferocious look, size and the handling of Foreman, but I guess not every tough guy is naturally a boxer, it's an art and science.
Interesting, now we can see how bad
it is watching from a ringside seat.
Good fight while it lasted
A rough & tough boxing match. I am certain that the paying customers, at the arena, got their money's worth!!!!
Big Jack was doing ok when he was punching big George, when he stopped George got him💪🏿
Well yeah they turned the red lights on over the ring🥊🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@irafinkelstein423 Huh? Oh...yeah, the...the...whole superman 2 Deus Ex Machina thing at the end. Right.
Interesting Foreman uses his jab and legs more with long guard tactics to parry the big man's punches.
Foreman really knocked out Simon Moon
Jai’Halloran wasn’t a bad fighter at all, George IS a GREAT fighter however, a special fighter.
wow didnt know about this one
26 days after Linux first launched.
Foreman knocked O’Halloran out FACE-FIRST! He was devastating.
I think Jack O;Hallaran was a good fighter. The guy on here that said he couldn't fight- should have fought him in his prime. I am sure we know who the winner would have been! He may not have beat Foreman but Big George was only beat 4x out of 70 plus fights. I just think its unfair to say Jack couldn't box just because George Foreman beat him.
That's how toxic fans are. Discredit other fighters because they lost to their favorite
O´Halloran was killed by Kong in 1976.
Yes he was in 1980 he was killed by Superman Jack is a personal friend of mine I know him quite well💪😂😂💪. He plays the big mutant. With a sore

Jack was a big cat....
In shape too,
It took Ali to beat George,
Jack stopped Ali's brother,.
who was a decent fighter.
Only one to Ko him.
jack wasnt a big cat that was cleveland the big cat williams who was the real and original big cat who lossed to jack because cleve was a really bumed out fighter in the 70”s and had nothing left but to punch and no defense
the real superman who beat the zod underling , black superman
Amol muzz from dragnet hilarious
Not too many people ever pushed Foreman back like Jack did.
@Paul macawiez That’s why Foreman knocked his BLOCK off.
I noticed that too. He was shoving Foreman back the way Foreman shoved people. Non was a lot more impressive than I thought he'd be. Not many guys walking the planet can say they stood toe to toe with Foreman, even for a few minutes.
@@Dane33602 Foreman knocked his block off! He was “pushing Foreman back” to try to keep him away! Foreman dropped him on his face..for the 10 count!
Yea and Ali floored Foreman like a piece of meat dummy.
@@maximusvonce1381 I KNOW, but O’Halloran IS NO ALI, DUMMY!!
didnt know till now that he is Anastasias son
Just found out today. His mom slept with a married man. However, he doesn’t look like Anastasia imo.
George is just a kid here. Wow. He was always big, obviously, but he hasn't really started to fill out yet, relatively speaking as his tree trunk arms are already getting stupid thick. Fun fact: George's forearms were the same girth as his biceps. It's one of the reasons he could throw ANYONE around the ring at will. The ungodly sized hands were the cherry on top. We were beyond lucky to have him become a boxer. Imagine if Lebron never played basketball. Cheers
Jack can't box
I bet he would folded you up in the corner
@@Jimmy-B- Exactly.
@@Jimmy-B- Like laundry. It's always the clowns with the biggest mouths.
He's in several Boxing Hall of Fames and held the California Heavyweight Championship.
Jack O’Halloran wasn’t exactly an A-List actor. He was a journeyman boxer who did well vs the lower tier but not good enough to beat top tier guys. Nothing wrong with that.
