Thanks for reviewing the show Dave! Was trying to decide if I wanted to drive, pay to park and then pay for the show as I’d only be bringing my 1.5 year old. Decided that it’s just not worth it for me. Totally a millennial too and I’m not gonna lie, ya girl wanted some Goofy Movie and old school movies that my son loves too!
You’re so welcome! I think you made the right call on that, especially for the money and drive part. I’m still a little mad they didn’t put Powerline in it 😂
...I actually have a lot to say here. And I'll give my two cents from a very special perspective - an auteur. One who loved 20th century animation. Here's what I got: Kids love Disney. Adults love classic Disney. I love classic Disney with a heightened appreciation that surpasses most adults and even staff that work at Disney. Why? Disney wasn't just a company, it was a world. I was born in 1992 and didn't have internet until 2007. We had some of the old Disney movies on VHS and I was right in the middle of the Windows 95/98 PC era, so Disney Interactive was a big part of my life growing up. I had games on the PS1 like Tarzan and The Little Mermaid, even A Bug's Life. I also got to try out Aladdin's Math Quest, Disney's Magic Artist, and others. Why were these so special to me? And why does the magic still exist long after the directional changes after the 2000s? I'm going into the business, myself. I'm still that child and the magic was never truly lost. It lives in me still, and so does the special "closed-curtain" mystique that Disney was famous for in its prime. I remember the old traditions at least as they were presented to us, and being on the spectrum, we were *there* in our own minds and hearts. So to have this Disney Animation Immersive Experience would be an incredible thing for me, especially as someone who writes his own cartoon characters. I'd be the guy off to the side, kinda by myself, and just lost in this world as the lights and colors change. You'd think I was high. Through one lens, I'm reliving childhood magic. Through another, I'm appreciating what went into it as an artist with a smidge of understanding in stage directing. Through yet another, I'm studying every piece of the experience as if I was there as it was being engineered before opening to the public, when no one knew what was in there except you and the crew. I'm aware that a lot of the magic in show business is just illusion, but knowing that allows me to appreciate what it's like to be the architect of dreams. I would totally pay $45 to go see that - I get so much more out of it than most for very special and personal reasons.
Thanks for the review. I was wondering about bringing my baby to the show in Canada. It looks cool, but I don't think the cost looks like it is worth it for a littler😊 baby.
Here in Colombia the show just arrived about a month ago, and people was very excited because Encanto is based on our country, and I was looking for reviews because I still cannot decide if taking my 2 year old is worth it, specially for the VIP, I still don't get the difference between the regular experience and the VIP one.
To me, there’s not much of a difference. At least here in the U.S., you got to borrow a cushion sit on, and a bracelet that not everyone had that only works while you’re in there. Since you have a 2-year-old, they’ll probably want to walk around and won’t even use the cushion 😀
You're so welcome! I just checked and it doesn't look like there are dates in Europe right now, but it looks like the cities keep updating! disneyimmersive.com/
Thank you so much for the review! Very informative, clearly explained and fun to listen.
Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate the feedback!
I wish you had a Disneyland video. I’d totally watch it. I like your style…very informative.

Thx for the insight
Was skeptical of this
I think I'll pass on this event here in vegas
Thanks so much, Fernando! It’s definitely pricey, so I’m happy the video helped!

I think you’re making the right call. Maybe in a year or two! 🙂
It looks like Animation Building in Disneyland California Adventure which has a free access once you've paid for park ticket.
Thanks for sharing this review!
Hope it helps, Mike!
Thanks for reviewing!

Thank you for uploading this video 🙂 Do you know if this experience will come to Europe?

@@davechung Okay. Thanks for answering 🙂I really hope it can come to Europe. Sorry, but what did you mean with your last sentence?
Too bad I didn’t see your video before buying 3 tickets!
great review!!
Thank you so much!!
Awesome video
Thank you!!
We have to return the led wristbands?
Yep 🙁 they wouldn’t work outside of the venue because they need to be close to the brain.
Glad I saw this I was thinking of buying the package w/ wristbands. I thought we get to keep them
I love it ❤❤❤
Is this show on whole year?
It travels from city to city! From what I can tell, the amount of time it stays varies.
I see. Thanks for the info..
Cool
It was! I really enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🙂
Looks incredibly underwhelming even for kids.
I am a big Encanto fan
There’s a lot of Encanto during the experience! 😀 thanks so much for watching!
