    An on-board compressor has a "hidden feature" besides just adjusting for ride. I use mine to level the camper when parked and most of the time it can bring me from a few degrees out to dead level. I run 75 to 90 on the road, and they make a difference even on my dually.

    Hey Todd! Thanks for sharing another great upgrade. It would make me nervous to void my warranty, very brave!

    Going to agree on this one these look good. Firestone puts the bags inside the leaves next to the pumpkin rendering them almost useless for side to side. When they're so close to center (Firestone) you are riding on whichever bag has the most air in it (a single airbag ride). I'd recommend plumbing them independent for side to side leveling. Of-course right now I'm riding on Kelderman's with my F450 and Arctic Fox 1150 - best there is we put on after an Alaska trip on Firestones that beat us senseless.
    edit: Kelderman = 4 point leveling, air compressor with drier. Didn't want to spend the $$$ until after getting beat down on our Alaska trip. The F450 now rides like an F250 (still a truck) even empty.

      Hey Bob, Thanks for the support. It's nice to get free stuff now and then but by the time I'm done making the video I feel like I've earned it, most of the time. :) Thanks again for watching!

    Hey Todd, .... Hoping you will do an UPDATE video on these Air bags, towards to end of the camping season .... Telling us how they worked, both when just with the camper, and then with the camper & pulling your trailer w/jeep on board , ... Inquiring minds would like to know your thoughts, down the road !! "Thanks" 😉👍

    Hey Todd! Another great video. Very timely as I’m about to order air bags for my F350. Wondering if Torque had any input regarding the fact that you had to flip the bottom bracket over on your F350 when you had the issue with the bag sliding off center. Good you were able to watch the Firestone video to see how they have theirs installed. Thanks for all the time and effort you spend putting your videos together - helps a lot of us with mods we do to our truck camper set ups. Be safe and enjoy your camping time!

      Thanks for the nice comments. I was told by a viewer that ordered some for their F350 that they had corrected that issue in their instructions, after I put the video out. Hopefully that is so but I haven't checked. Safe travels and thanks for watching our videos!

      Hey Todd! So I ordered my airbags. Wanted to let you know they have NOT updated the instructions regarding the orientation for the lower spring bracket. There was a guide update attached but it had nothing to do with that bracket - it was about whether or not your truck has a jounce stop. Unfortunately this update was not done very well either as they attached two identical pictures rather than two different ones showing the difference in installs. Also, it does not mention that the support bracket that sits on the axle is not used if you have the jounce stop. I may just put the bolt in place so it may help avoid the problem you had with the bag sliding outwards. I called Torque and explained the errors and they basically said to watch the Etrailer video you mentioned and disregard the instructions included with the kit. Very glad for your video - it had me looking out for certain things and will make my install much more straight forward. Thanks again for all you do with the videos. Have a great day!

      @@mikes79 Thanks for letting me know that the instructions have not been corrected. I have no control over that but hopefully they will fix it someday. Someone else told me it was fixed but if you got a recent set, I guess it's not. I'm glad the video helped and hopefully saved you time and frustration. The etrailer Firestone video is a good one to follow. I hope you can get them on, and everything goes well. Thanks again for watching our videos. ~ Todd

    You need to put fuel lines over all the plastic air tubing and they will not run and put holes in your lines .

    I bought a set of Torque air bags for my 2001 F250 because of your previous video. Unfortunately they don't look anywhere as nice as the set you did the previous video on. They were wrapped in plastic but have scratches all over them and the part number is stamped into each part but on the parts list on the box, they don't give you the part number to match up, just a small picture of the part.

    I look at those on Amazon to put on my GMC 3500 Dually but I haven't heard nothing about them, thank you for showing a video. So if you let the airbag set do they lose air over time and if so how much?

    • @RunawayRoses
      @RunawayRoses  7 месяцев назад

      They shouldn’t lose air unless there is a leak. But may be over a really long time they could possibly lose some air. But I haven’t experienced that with mine. Thanks for watching!

    Bought some for my Sierra 2500. Look like quality units, but noticed that they are leaking on the air fitting on top of the bag. It’s leaking where it screws into the bag and I’ve tightened it about all it can go with putting also some Teflon tape as well. Did you run into that situation?

    • @nismor3490

      I see you did have a similar issue😅. What sealing tape did you use exactly brand wise?

      I used the yellow Teflon tape for gas lines. Thanks for watching!

    Would the 350 airbags work on the trailer to smooth out the ride?

    • @RunawayRoses
      @RunawayRoses  7 месяцев назад

      I don’t know that would depend on the trailer and the type of airbags. Thanks for watching!
