I wasn't aware that Chevy used leather in a Biscayne.

Just started ordering them recently, so it will probably be January 2021 before they start hitting the lot.

Great restoration, but I saw a 6 cylinder engine, so, it’s a NOM (not original motor) car. Not nearly worth what an original 409 Biscayne would be worth.

If you say so... that's a 409 my friend. This is a piece of history.

@@Shutchohole Well, it depends on your point of view and what a person values. Many, many real collectors would not consider a car like that having real collector value. Originally is paramount to those folks. Think of an original Hemi-Cuda vs. one made from parts. The original worth millions, the clone not so much. Owning the 409 Chevrolet would be cool for sure, but an original would be worth a lot more. OTOH, the clone would be safer to drive like you stole it.

@@CrazyPetez I rewatched this video again (3rd time) and caught what you were talking about with the straight 6. I was wrong, having missed the first couple of pics. I assumed it was an original 409 car. That being said, I think I'd rather have a clone than an original. Just because I don't want a car I would be afraid to drive for fear of wrecking history.
