I'm a ten year old who plays the cello and I always felt as though it isn't a popular instrument compared to the violin but to see a cello channel with over two million subs puts a smile on my face

At first I was like you, I was thinking that it was an instrument that not many people played but then I realised that it was going to be an advantage. I have just been given a fantastic opportunity to join an orchestra and do professional concerts. Due to there being less people playing the cello, orchestras have more need for them and you have a much better chance of getting into amazing things and being offered amazing opportunities. The upper strings (violin) have a hard time getting as good opportunities as the lower strings due to the large abundance of them. Take every opportunity you have with your cello as it is amazingly fun. Don’t worry about being the only person that plays it, use that to your advantage and push yourself as hard as you can. My 11 year old son showed me these guys and told how he just loves the music that a cello makes and by far loves the music these guys make.. Till this day he amazingly still surprises me with things he enjoys when he's never been brought up around it... It's a rare gift when you get children now days that can enjoy the music that an instrument like a cello creates. Amazing
Sammi Atkins that’s almost exactly what happened to me. Now, I’m 13 but when I was 6, my older brother and I were at the same school. In the school, you could start to learn how to play a string instrument at age 6 or up(band started in 4th grade but was optional). My brother chose the violin, and my mom made me play, too. I enjoyed it like any other musician would like to play music, but my eye kept on going back to the cello. I literally BEGGED my mom for me to learn it, but she said that it was way too big. When I was 8, I finally got to learn it. Since then, I became completely immersed and part of the cello. I also play other instruments like the ukulele, guitar, singing, and I also do acting.

The best thing about these guys is that they always look like they're having fun. I really love the musicality, expression, and passion these guys put into their playing. Beautiful video, you guys. I also love the way you passed the melody back and forth like you did. Very creative. And the ending is adorable.
